Humorous: The detergent commercial about the Namath miracle t-shirt ketchup stain. Sly, but obviously not too effective, since I don't remember which detergent.
Effective: The Dodge Ram paeon to farmers. I teared up. If I were a farmer I would never buy another Chevy, Ford, GMC or Toyota again.
Brand enforcing: The Clydesdale colt growing up and, years later, affectionately recognizing his former stable keeper. Another tissue grabber for this animal lover and former horse partner. But what made it stand out was the otherwise absence of the Clydesdale imprint on the other Bud ads, and the utter mediocrity of Budweiser's other commercials. They paid millions (and millions and millions) for the boring and overdone bar scene concept.
PS: Where was Apple?
The Audi bravery ad – loved it.
