No surprise here, folks, but Denver City Attorney David R. Fine is heading back into private practice:
DENVER (April 7, 2011) – The law firm of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP
(MLA) announced today that Denver City Attorney David R. Fine will join
the firm’s Denver office on April 25 as a partner. Fine’s practice will
focus on business disputes and commercial litigation, employment law,
and public policy matters.
This is a good get for McKenna, Long, and Aldridge in a city filled to the brim with well-respected law-firms. The more city-insiders you can have in your firm, the better, especially for a DC firm like McKenna Long. It’s clear that they’re building up their local office with local, and more importantly, well-connected talent.
It’s also good get for Fine, who would probably be looking for new work when the next Mayor takes over after the election. This way he can make big bucks while defining the litigation coming out of the Denver office.
