I'd be interested in knowing how life for them would be if all their Somalian style anti government ideas were actually implemented.
All his carreer, boyles has had the luxury of screaming for chaos that up to now he knew adults in government would prevent.
Should this crazy bunch he now supports actually sieze power, that luxury will undeniably turn to palpable fear……..of the same types he has championed.
As a resident of SD-1and constituent of Brophy, now endorsed by RMGO in his gubernatorial aspirations, I'm very interested in his position on this recall. If they're successful in recalling Senator Hudak – the majority of the state Senate would flip – and I assume Brophy would be the most serious contender for Senate President? A seductive proposition for any politician. But, the chance of appearing as though you've supported, what a general election voter in a state-wide race may view as an over-reach, must surely be giving him pause.
Given that Bill Cadman is the senate minority leader, my guess is that he'd be more likely to be the next senate president rather than Brophy. As a rule, people who are running for higher office (see Waller, Mark) don't take on major leadership positions; they're more likely to step down from those positions.

Dog barking, keeping me up. So I'll respond to Cook here, re the supposed scandal about Senator Hudak's social media use.
Senator Hudak was using social media to communicate with constituents, and she did post and tweet quite a bit, but almost all on legislative topics. I'm one of her 2,186 FB friends.
Now, she's shut down all social media contact with her constituents, doesn't send out anything at all. Too bad, really. Hers were definitely more informative than say, those of Amy Stephens:

We live in an age when people expect instant updates. Legislators tweet, and their tweets are followed, by reporters, constituents, and the randomly curious. That's how it is.
Colorado Peak politics distorted what Hudak did put out those 2 days of the legislative hearings. However, anyone can look it up.
What she put out on Sept 26 and 27 was an update on Colorado ACA,retweeeted Vote Yes on 66, another ACA update, a teacher article, the "Yoga advice". She also tweeted 18 times during both days, 6 of them on the judiciary-related hearing topics, 6 on education related topics including legislative topics and a book whose author she introduced at a PTA board meeting, Between Sept 26 and 27, 18 tweets – 6 on prisons /judiciary topics, 3 on ACA / health reform, 6 on education issues, (4 of these were legislation-related) 1 LGBT responding to Sen. Lambert, and 1 completely extraneous “water on mars” tweet.
Women legislators are definitely being targeted more post-recalls, by the gun lobby. Here's an interesting article on it.
