Is that image an official Greg poster?
If yes, then does it appeal to 51% of the electorate?
I really don't want my governor glorifying assault rifles.

"A lot of people" isn't 51%.
The picture is from Greg Brophy's Gun Club, on his official Greg for Governor website. In recognition of the more than 10 grand Rocky Mountain Gun Owners has given to Brophy's campaign this year alone, it shows that Dudley Brown is getting his money's worth from the Brophy campaign.
The image probably would alienate more than 51% of moderate Colorado voters, but so far Brophy's not backing away from RMGO's money spigot.
Big gun, big mouth, very little man.
Brophy is a perfect example of overcompensating for a lack of masculinity.
So Tancredo might lose the primary over doing the right thing at that time.
There are many reasons that Tanc might lose the primary, but it's not going to be because made an emotional vote on a bill based on a mass shooting that happened in his district.

Maybe somewhere in their tiny reptilian brains, they can sense the rest of humanity evolving past them… and it makes them angry.
Not so far from the truth. Probably why American fundamentalists, having lost the war against gays here, have been so busy helping write and pass unbelievably draconian anti-gay laws in Uganda, laws that include death sentences, and other African countries such as Burundi and Malawi. Conservatives really are dragging those knuckles as hard as they can to slow down the evolving world around them, even though they must know resistance to change is ultimately futile. Maybe they can move to Uganda and enjoy living in a country that hounds LGBT people to prison and death, according to the hate laws they wrote and promoted, for another half a generation.
