Round 3!!!

It’s Friday, so that means Survivor! Colorado Pols is back. We’re kicking off one person in each of the four polls from last week (for previous week’s results, click here). Say goodbye to these politicos who last week received the most votes to get kicked off the island that is Colorado:

Round Two Exiles
(D) Peggy “Had a Little” Lamm
(D) Herb “The Robot” Rubenstein
(R) Marilyn “Marriage Maven” Musgrave
(R) Doug “Sue the World” Bruce

Round One Exiles (last week)
(R) Tom “Tom Tom” Tancredo
(R) Jon “Dildo Art” Caldara
(D) Joan “Don’t Forget the Hyphen” Fitz-Gerald
(D) Diana “We Can’t Think of a Clever Nickname” DeGette

Here’s the breakdown from round two…

Democratic Poll #1:

Candidate for CD-7 and former legislator Peggy Lamm, with 41 votes, was booted out over State Representative Morgan Carroll, who received 32 votes. Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper was the most popular, with only 4 votes.

Democratic Poll #2:

Candidate for CD-7 Herb “The Robot” Rubenstein is the big vote-getter of the week with 44 votes. Herb gets tossed out after out-polling Congressman John Salazar, who had 30 votes. State Senator Peter Groff is once again among the lowest vote-getters with 5 tallies.

Republican Poll #1:

Say goodbye to Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, whose 61 votes makes her the big loser over Republican gubernatorial candidate Marc Holtzman, with 50. Three politicos tied with 4 votes apiece: Senator Wayne Allard, Congressman Joel Hefley, and Senator Andy McElhany.

Republican Poll #2:

With 53 votes, TABOR daddy Doug Bruce’s term on the poll is short-lived; he gets the boot over former State Senator John Andrews, who narrowly survives for the second straight week with 46 votes. State Senators Doug Lamborn and Steve Johnson tied for the low vote with 3 apiece.

We’re not adding any new names this week, but we’ll accept write-in votes in the comments section for next week. To vote in this week’s Survivor! Colorado Pols, click below…

Remember to cast write-in ballots in the comments section if you’d like to see new names added next week.
