Bobby Keys, Hard-Living Saxophonist for Rolling Stones, Dies at 70
Ian McLagan, Keyboardist With the Faces, Dies at 69
Timely, Canned Heat "The Police in Denver" " Police there used to rob & steal" ( circa 1956) "We were working a Hippie place, they couldn't bust " (west Evans, Family Dog) "so they got the band" (early morning raid on South Sante Fe motel)
Maybe somebody could help this out & provide a link, beyond my skill or bandwidth, thx
Denver Family Dog history.
Canned Heat's Denver bust, which inspired the song above.
