One thing is clear, mama. The overarching attitude of Islamic militants and the population in general is they don't want us there. We (the western world, particularly Britain and the US) moved into the oil rich region primarily to ensure we would have oil for our giant, diesel burning, armies and navies. I recommend a rather large book on the subject…"the Great War for Civilisation" by Robert Fisk. Once you become aware of the monumental intrusion on the people of the mideast by the west, you begin to understand their ponit of view.
ISIL is a cancer that needs to be excised from the face of planet earth. But it must be the Muslim community in the Mideast that wields the scalpel. We must play ONLY a supporting role…the victory must belong to Jordan, Iraq, Turkey and any other neighbors who can be compelled to join the fight.
I trust the judgement of our president.
As for our favorite warhawk, Lindsey Graham, I think he should grab an AR15, hang a scimitar from his belt and go show us how it is done….
