Regarding the item about Kansas Gov. Brownback's heretical move to raise taxes… at least he is holding true to his principles to protect the wealthy and give the poor and powerless a screwing over they won't soon forget!
I mean, how good must it feel to raise the sales tax, which hits the lower and middle class a lot harder than the wealthy, and "offset" that by giving them an income tax exemption? Of course if you are poor and/or unemployed, then the exemption is worthless, but isn't that the point?
