Casper Stockham….where are you?
Casper's been busy interviewing on the Peter Boyles show December 26 (sample quotes):
Casper shared a story about being arrested for daring to check out a library book in the segregated South.
Apparently, Ronald Reagan's affirmative action program made Casper into a Republican. It made him question all entitlement and safety net programs. Like Clarence Thomas’s position , affirmative action was "OK for me, but not for thee."
In the interview, Boyles characterized all racism as Democratic. Casper was happy to help.
Casper has also been posting wild Clinton conspiracy stories on his Facebook page.
I wonder if Casper has ever heard Richard Nixon's rants about race and intelligence…..
And didn't Ronald Reagan select Meridian, Mississippi to launch his 1980 campaign all as a tribute to state's right?
Deaths from pot overdoses http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/marijuana-deaths-2014_56816417e4b06fa68880a217?ncid=fcbklnkushpmg00000013§ion=politics
Denver Post headline, January 30, 2016:
CDC Report – MJ Overdose Death Toll Stagnant, Rate Shows No Improvement
I was thinking it would be more like this:
POT OVERDOSES REACH TWO YEAR HiGH SINCE LEGALIZATION!
Trump has schlonged the GOP and the establishment hath schlonged themselves after years of preparatory ground work:
So true. Love Eugene Robinson.
If at first you
don't succeedfail miserably, try, try, try again? Really?http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2015/01/12/ryan_wont_run_in_2016_as_romney_moves_toward_third_bid_125230.html
Once a loser, twice a loser, third time's the charm?
Smells like GOP establishment desperation.
January 12, 2015
About a year late on this one, unfortunately…
Um, that article was written in Jan. 2015. I suppose if Trump fails to garner actual votes and Cruz starts to gain momentum, there is a slim possibility Romney would entertain the idea of being the party's savior.
But regardless, the damage Trump has wrought is likely fatal.
Can't wait to get AC's take on this
God catch. Figured it was bull. Didn't notice is was warmed over from almost a year ago.
Huff po you gotta watch them. They rehash stuff all the time. Thanks for the corrections.
I just think that Mittens getting into the mix will be hillarious. I don't think he'll actually get the nomination but he'll drive the rest of them even battier than they already are.
Can't you just heard the Donald, Ted Cruz and Rand Paul going off about the establishment striking back and Romney as the deus ex machina dropped in to save the party from the villagers with their torches and pitchforks!
Two for two. George Pataki is dropping out.
Looking now for high-energy !!JEB!! to scramble out and meet with both of his voters this evening . . .
I guessed Pataki both times. This time I was right! You know what they say about broken clocks.
But is Gilmore still in the running? And will they finally fold the Kids' Table before the next debate? (I know they were threatening to send Rand there, but he said he wouldn't go.)
So who's next? Who's still running? I'm hedging bets – Santorum, Gilmore, or Huckabee will drop out next. Rand Paul will stay in until after the Kentucky caucus in March, since he made them make a special accommodation for him, and paid for it, too.
The next R debate is January 14. One of the three I named will get out either right before, or right after, that debate.
And I hope that Joy Reid replaces Chris Matthews on Hardball…indefinitely.
I second that.
