“But the thought of being a lunatic did not greatly trouble him; the horror was that he might also be wrong.”

Testing, testing, is this thing on?
Just wanted to note that the Denver Post published a couple of excellent letters that expose Trump as a con artist and banana republic dictator wannabe.

OhNoSheTwitnt
@OhNoSheTwitntTrump is blaming Sanders supporters for the violence at his rally because you can't truly be Hitler until you blame a Jew for your problems.
This gets a little awkward for the Trump's since his daughter Ivanka converted to marry an orthodox Jew and is now an observant Sabbath keeping Jew herself.
That would be the "Trumps". I’ve seen the mug that says something about every time a student uses an apostrophe for plural a puppie dies.
No puppies die. But every time an apostrophe is misused, a prominent Republican makes a fool of himself. Must be a whole lot of bad punctuation this year!
Palin's husband is apparently seriously injured. Everyone probably would hold off on ridicule if they know
I still think empathy is a good choice even with her hyperactive mouth
You're right, Gray, and normally, I'm all about the empathy, and if Palin & family were my neighbors or colleagues, I could find some empathy for their troubles with addiction, unplanned pregnancies, and running afoul of the law.
But she's such a fricking hypocrite, holding up her "family values" and "religious foundation" for us to emulate. Her latest, calling protesters out as "thugs", is a prime example of the projection that has served her so well in her political career.
If all I can manage in return is petty snark about her kid's names, so be it.
Not wishing ill on Mr. Palin (God knows he's got more troubles than Job) …
… My reading of yesterday's events are that after Barbie heard about the accident and announced her inability to appear in Florida and her heading home, somehow(?) she wound up later in the day at a rally introducing Chris Man-Chrushtie …

I disagree.
a. She puts her family and her self in the public political sphere as a leader and an example to follow.
2. Her daughter's "abstinence only" birth control resulted in two baby daddies, like many abstinence only programs.
c. Her husband gets the rep for being mr. Macho, manly oil field, hunting dude who races snow 'machines.' Like concussions and football, snowmobile racing goes with injuries.
i hope the 1/2 term Governor wishes up to the real world and connects the dots to announce her mistake in believing she and her familia were examples for all to follow. I hope the grand babies are well cared for by both parents and their extended families. I hope Mr. palin's injuries are minor and that he makes a full recovery.
but she is an example of what's wrong with America and the Republican Party. Her daughter is a wreck.ess idiot. It appears the husband is too, and the sooner they are long forgoton minor media celebrities no one cares about in the public political or policy circles, the better we will all be. Hail Trump.
It is entirely possible the reason we don't see much of the former potential "First Dude", is his wife embarrasses the shit out of him…I know some men like Todd Palin…if I can infer anything about him from his lifestyle. I should think he finds the whole thing ( politics, show biz, etc.) just an annoyance that his batshit crazy wife does.
I'm betting he is one of those guys that doesn't spend a lot of time at home.
He is, by the way, in intensive care, but I haven't found any details.
Putin is removing Russian forces from Syria.
A. This is not true. It cannot be true because Obama has not taunted, belittled or otherwise confronted Putin.
B. Well, since ISIL is still in Syria, now we hAve a conclusive demonstration that Russian interference had nothing to do with fighting ISIS.
C. Perhaps creating a migrant problem for Europe was reward enough. thanks, Merkel.
D. Iran must have nukes now, right?
Putin never had any interest in fighting ISIS per se. His only interest was propping up his ally Assad. Mission accomplished.
Maybe Der Drumpf can get on the horn to his new BFF, Putin, and work out an incredible deal to get the Russians to stay in Syria and fight ISIL.
They're definitely going to stay in Syria.
Nope. Assad is a Kleenex. Keeping Russia's only naval base in the region, and establishing a new air base, and that's all folks!!
