(ICYMI) Trump rally at the Colorado Capitol today

POLS UPDATE #2: Can’t make this up, folks:

Things you can’t do sober: Spirit of America rally Denver from Denver

—–

POLS UPDATE: A memorable sign from today’s exciting little rally for President Donald Trump:

Donald Trump: the “anoited” one! At least we’re pretty sure this isn’t a reference to a certain presidential hotel suite in Moscow. Meanwhile, for comparison, LGBT advocacy group One Colorado appears to have done as well or better than Donald Trump for attendance to their LGBTQ Rally Day today:

Original post follows.

—–

With all the protests taking place almost daily in Colorado, we at ProgressNow Colorado are committed to helping citizens stay up to date on what’s happening. Today, a rally at the Colorado Capitol to support President Donald Trump gave us a chance to easily explain how to spot the difference between rallies in support of versus in opposition to Trump.

Thank you for your attention.

  1. Republicans have jobs? I don't know what this is trying to prove but it's stupid. Congratulations that you have so many unemployed hippies who show up at every Democrat protest.

Sorry, they do have jobs! PAID PROTESTOR.

    1. Aw Moldy.  You still butthurt because the Kochs wouldn't hire you to be a Paid Protestor/Troll?  You know, because you suck at it.

Not everybody can live like you, in their Mother's Basement with your job title: Paid Protesor FOR HIRE

  2. So early in January, the GOP Congress passed a budget resolution instructing the budget committee as well as other committees with jurisdiction over the subject to put together their plan to repeal and replace the much-hated Obamacare by January 27. That was January 27 of 2017.

That was a month ago. How's that working out for you guys, Moddy?

  3. And on a related matter, the N.Y. Times (you know, all the non-fake news that's fit to print) reports on the rift opening between the White House and Paul Ryan on entitlement reform and discretionary spending.

Looks like the White House is taking entitlements off the table but will offset increase military spending by essentially eliminating all discretionary spending. (Zapp needs to give a shout out for Trump putting the kibosh on any Grand Compromise on entitlement reform.)

    1. R&R, could you 'splain that like I'm five? I'm confused by:

offset increase military spending by essentially eliminating all discretionary spending. .(….Trump putting the kibosh on any Grand Compromise on entitlement reform.)

On second reading, I think I get it. The Ryan budget would increase military spending, paying for it by cutting all discretionary spending????!!!
And saying they won’t compromise, no negotiation, take no prisoners, etc?

I bet they will so negotiate and compromise, they just won’t call it negotiation and compromise. And any media outlet that reports it otherwise is “fake news”.

      1. Trump's budget leaves entitlements intact, boosts the military 10% ($54B), and cuts non-military discretionary spending (everything else) by ~$54B.

Ryan want to fold in cuts to entitlements paired with tax cuts for the rich. Such a swell guy.

  4. re: Update #2 …. were the Trump folks paying supporters? I'm betting there would be some people willing to hold a sign in return for a bit of refreshment.
