Sources close to former Colorado Treasurer Cary Kennedy tell us that she will launch her campaign for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination next Monday–an expected development now that Ed Perlmutter has set
No question the Democratic Party choices will far outshine any others.
I can do without professional politician Cary Kennedy in the race. Perlmutter is a common sense pragmatist. Kennedy is pretty far left.
So a man who has been in public office since 95' is a "common sense pragmatist," but a woman who served one term as state treasurer is a, "professional politician?" Nice to see the sexism rising before the two even announce.

There's a man in the White House right now who made it his brag that he had no political experience. So we see. He can't find his ass with both hands and a GPS. and he's about to get us into a war. Thanks, but I'll take an actual politician anytime.
Sexism has nothing to do with it at all. Nice try there gumshoe. And there is no relationship whatsoever to the current occupant of the White House.
Perlmutter also had years in the legislature before running for Congress. He is far more of a professional politician than Cary. Why do you think that is a bad thing, CHB? I think Ed would be a fine governor. I think Cary would be a brilliant one.

Another reminder for gumshoe: in 2016, Dems added three seats to their majority in the State House and took control of the State Board of Education for the first time in almost 50 years.
