  1. A severe Trumpstink alert has been issued for all points on the Internet, especially for women between the age of two months and 100 years who have ever or will ever menstrate.

The Center for Trumpstink Control warns that women exposed to Trumpstink of more than 40 characters are especially at risk of low self-esteem, discriminatory pay scales and working "second shifts" without pay.

As an emergency measure, the Center for Trumpstink Control is offering free psychiatric examinations for the 53 percent of white women who actually voted for this lout.

    What were you thinking, Girl?

As always, stay upwind, my friends.

    1. Trumpstink Testimonial from Stephen King

      To answer your other question:

White women without college degrees chose Trump. They believed he would "shake up Washington" and bring back jobs", "drain the swamp", build the wall" – all promises he's broken.

He has shaken up Washington, in the sense that Washington, like the rest of the country, is appalled and disgusted and angry at Trump's attacks on democracy and decency.

But I don't think that's what white women, even uneducated white women, had in mind.

      1. Trump supporters everywhere need to own up to what they have done…I have little patience for those who claim they thought he would be different  They were not duped. They willingly voted for this clown.

Jerks like PP can't face the truth….that is why it means so little to them.

      1. ML

It is the Dems that get to make that choice in a primary.

He needs his share of Independents in the general, but would not be getting many R's anyway.

My sense is the Boulder liberal label would be more of a concern than the gay piece.

      2. Mark Udall (first time) showed the "Boulder liberal" label isn't a deal killer. And I think most (not all) people who would vote based on the sexual orientation of a candidate will vote Republican regardless of anything else about the candidates.

        1. Udall did debunk the "Boulder liberal" label once and for all. Wad Dickhams kept parroting the phrase (much as he hurled "millionaire-lawyer-lobbyist" at Tom Strickland) right up until the time Bob Schaffer conceded.

The only reason Udall lost in '14 was he attached his re-election campaign to a fetus and did nothing more.

      1. No.  But what was the need to lie about 17 intelligence agencies?

I don't believe it for many reasons, but why not just say three of the 17 intelligence agencies and be truthful?

        1. I beg your pardon…

Truth? Since when is truth a Republican virtue. Greed always "trumps" truth for Republicans.

Not to mention the lies spewing from idiot in the White House, look at all the Republican attacks on Science, as in climate change denial, trickle-down economics. They even hate math!

        2. That assessment was based on information collected by three agencies – the FBI, CIA and National Security Agency – and published by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which represents all U.S. intelligence agencies.

Heilege Makrele, PissAnt !…you are SUCH a liar.

Which one of the 17 agencies disputed the statement?

          1. 2 hrs later, I ask again…which one of the 17 agencies represented by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence disagreed with the published assessment..?

You know the answer, PissAnt…let's see you fess up to being a lying sack of shit. This is one of your worst fails in recent memory. The quote above…which disproves your lie…came from the article you cited.

            Pathetic…

            1. Duke:

Let me see, three looked at the stuff the Dems paid a retired British spy to produce, which was a joke.  Two of the three thought there might be something there with high confidence.  The third with not so high confidence.

The Obama moles who are running the agencies are about as trustworthy as you are.

  2. Trump really is becoming a laughingstock to the world. The latest:

Twitter Borrows Trump’s Obamacare Strategy: β€˜Impeach Now, Replace Later’
Trump’s idea comes flying back like a boomerang.

      1. I can hardly wait for the outcome of Trump's meeting with Putin this week.  Since Trump has no filter, and loves to brag, I just hope he doesn't give away too many more highly classified secrets to Putin.

The dreaded Trump Handshake picture should be a classic, since Putin is much smaller than Trump, but is I believe, a martial arts expert (Black belts in Judo, Karate and Taekwando), who could probably put Trump on the mat in a single move.

    1. What's this?  George Will conceding that Obama should have pushed for Single-Payer instead of the Heritage Plan?

A market-driven health care system with government at the periphery would implement the lesson of Social Security: Government is good at sending checks to identifiable cohorts. It should send support to those who need it for purchasing premiums, then get out of the way.

But Obama, who once said he preferred a single-payer system, flinched from the really radical reform we need — a move away from broad reliance (about 180 million Americans) on employer-provided health insurance, which, in an expensive fiction, is not taxed as what it obviously is: compensation. Partly because of this system, health care consumers are not shoppers and market signals are weak and few.

Suppose that instead of providing health insurance, employers gave employees money to buy groceries. What would grocery stores look like? There probably would be no prices. To see why, ask yourself: When your doctor wants to perform a particular test, do you ask, “How much will it cost?” If you do, you are eccentric. Besides, the doctor probably does not know.

      1. Well, yeah, Will's point is that Employer paid insurance is an economic distortion, including the fact that in employer gets a tax break (business expense) that isn't available to you as an individual.

Your health care and the insurance it rode in on, should belong to you, not your employer. If it belongs to your employer, than you get weird things like:

Employers making decisions about what to cover or not, as in anti-birth control employers over-riding your personal health-care decisions.

        1. And as with Company towns with Company stores, where scrip was the only currency accepted, employees couldn't save, and were captive to their employers.

Without portable health insurance and ruinously expensive medical care, we are still at their mercy.

        1. Project much?  Wasn't it you, Puny Pair, just a few weeks ago whimpering about us mean ol' Dems picking on you?

You like to dish it out, but can't seem to take it.

          Just kidding πŸ™‚

    1. NW, I find that news item to be both deliciously ironic and very hopeful. Bowers is herself a transgender woman, as you may know, and pioneered many of the male-to-female surgeries in her Trinidad practice.

She operated on 44 victims of female genita mutilation (FGM) in Kenya on that trip.

Here's what I find ironic: At the March Against Sharia a few weeks ago,  these right wing nuts were all self righteous about how "Sharia mandates FGM!"

They're acting as though they are the champions of these poor women, when in fact, they would fear and scorn them just as they mock, fear,  and attack any Muslim or person who seems Muslim.

And I find it doubly ironic that a trans woman doctor, whom these "patriots"  would also fear, mock, and attack, is the authentic champion of FGM victims.

      1. She went to Dr. Stan for her G.R.S. and stayed on to apprentice with him.

She closed the clinic in Trinidad a while ago and moved to San Franciso. Repairing FGM is her specialty now.

  3.

This little gem from Daily KOS. Scary shit….

During the debates on on the legislation Rep. Terese Berceau, D-Madison, asked the author of the bill, Rep. Jesse Kremer, R-Kewaskum, “if a geology professor, under the bill, would be able to correct a student who said the earth is only 6,000 years old.”  To which Rep. Kremer responded, "So, this bill stays out of the classroom. Yes, the Earth is 6,000 years old, that’s a fact. But, we can discuss that outside of this room."

The Earth is not 6000 years old, it has been determined scientifically to be 4.543 billion years old. A Wisconsin Assemblyman who believes the Earth is 6000 years old has written legislation that has passed both chambers of the Wisconsin Legislature that would allow a speaker like Ken Hamm come to the University of Wisconsin and state that the Earth is only 6000 years old, and no student could stand up and say, “Bullshit.”
