or is this from somewhere else? (I clearly didn’t read it…but) a few more details and relative quotes pulled out from the article (or other sources) so that the story is told a little more completely here, and you have a spot on the Front Page…
here’s the link to a write-up from U.S. News & World Report that includes the letter sent by 19 anti-choice Democrats calling for the explicit exclusion of abortion. Note that the letter not only calls for reaffirmation that federal funds will not cover abortion — which has been the law of the land for more than 30 years since it was codified as the Hyde Amendment — but also that any government-defined health care plan must exclude abortion.
