Here's to Doug Jones!!! And to Trump crying into his Diet Coke.
No, didn't you hear? Trump had it right all along. At least that was what he tweeted overnight. He knew Moore was a loser which is why he endorsed the other loser, Strange. But after Strange lost the runoff, Trump had to return to this loser, Moore.
Are you tired of winning yet?
We are so slightly less screwed.
Jones victory speech:
"And I'd like the thank those who made this night possible. Thank you General Jefferson Beauregard Session for leaving this seat vacant. Steve Bannon for selecting my opponent. Ivanka Trump, Richard Shelby, and Mitt Romney for doing the right thing and putting political considerations aside. And the proprietors of the Gadsden Mall for banishing the creep from their premises."

WOTD: "The Coalition of the Decent".
Exit polls showing a massive margin for Doug Jones among black women, black men, and (a smaller, but significant margin) among those under 45.
And an excellent Twitter commentary in the stream from @roymooreshorse. Sassy, a 14-year-old, apparently did not appreciate the rough handling by Roy Moore.
One of the best pages on the Tweeter: Frederick Douglas (tweeting from the grave)
He’s doing some good work these days!
If only Judge Roy Moore had dismounted from that poor horse and stood, smiling, in front of a wind turbine perhaps last night's outcome would have been different.
Speaking of wind turbines…
It says something that the black electorate actually out-performed their population in this election, and that Jones won a higher percentage of the black vote than did Barack Obama. Now, some of the out-performance was due to under-performance on the Republican side, but turn-out in urban areas and the "black belt" was at about 92% of the Presidential election – that's astounding for a special election.
Credit where it's due.

I know not what others may say. But as for me:
Gloat,
Gloat,
Goat like a goat!
Gloat,
Gloat,
Gloat like a goat!
My family's $100 contribution to Jones was well spent.
Gloat,
Gloat,
Gloat like a goat!
(Repeat at great length. It's been a while, my friends.)
Spinning as best he can.
Jeff Hayes, Chairman, Colorado Republican Party
"We all know that different segments of the Republican Party have different feelings about yesterday's election…The more energy we spend consternating about Alabama, the less we’ll have for Colorado, the state where God has placed us. If you want a government that will keep Colorado Colorado instead of engineering our transformation into California…"
Words of encouragement for political "genius" Steve Bannon to "keep up the good work":
