"Hot in the Kitchen!" A (Sexist) Energy Debate for Women?

Forwarded to us today, an upcoming event at the right-wing Independence Institute:



Oh look, she’s wearing oven mitts! Now the invitation says this “debate” is for women of “all political stripes,” but we found it on the website of the Arapahoe County Tea Party and have yet to see reference to it in a forum that might actually be read by a politically diverse audience. Not to mention that the title of this “debate” is liable to turn off women of…well, at least one political persuasion. A poll follows–cute icebreaker, or absurdly bad male chauvinist dreck?
