   1. Do you really just wake up early everyday, log on to COPols, and hit refresh until the open thread is posted?

      Do you have such a meaningless life that you feel the need to cut and paste this into the open thread every single day?

      If you really believe any of this crap you post (post of which doesn’t even make sense), then I hope you realize the damage you do to your own cause by being obnoxious about it. If you are just doing it for the purpose of being obnoxious and “sticking it to liberals” at COPols, then I guess more power to you.

      But seriously, I know five-year-olds with more sophisticated persuasion tactics than simply repeating the same thing over and over again.

      Get a job, get a life, find a better way to spend you time. Maybe read a book or two.

      The Denver Post SurveyUSA poll has some interesting demographics that appeared in their marijuana story. Looking closely at them shows why Romney is highly likely to win Colorado.

      Compare the Post demographics to other sources about Colorado’s demographic makeup – focusing on Anglos, Hispanics and all other racial/ethnic groups. Pundits and pollsters use previous elections’ exit polls and US Census data. Census itself has two analyses: a “Voting and Registration” report for 2008 and the American Community Survey 2011 report.

      For whatever reason, the Post did not report the Romney-Obama breakout by race or ethnic groups. American Research Group’s (ARG) Colorado poll (completed the day before SurveyUSA started the Post poll) has the following near mirror image breakout:

      Race – Obama Romney
      
      White – 42%:53%
      
      Hispanic – 54%:40%

      IF the Post over-estimated the number of Hispanic voters (as seems highly probable), that would reduce Obama’s final results. And we’ll see something, I’d wager, like the ARG result: Romney up 4% over Obama.

      More relevant or instructive …aka as disturbing to liberals … are the 40% of Hispanic voters who indicated they are planning to vote for Romney-Ryan.

      Don’t make a false predictor of me … OFA and the Obama Super PACs need to step it up. The collection of funds has been merciless, although some questionable foreign deposition to Obama are muddying the waters …. when will we see action?

   LIMON, CO-Saying the 1,800-pound bovine had it coming, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar decked a wise-ass bison during his recent visit to the Prairie Ridge Buffalo Farm, sources confirmed Saturday.

   The prick buffalo reportedly exhibited a shit attitude from the moment Salazar stepped out of his car and began touring the ranch, his provocations eventually leading the secretary to coldcock the herd animal. According to witnesses, the bison loudly chewed on grass and sedges while he spoke, and grunted repeatedly, even when Salazar confronted him and said, “You shut the hell up, or I promise this won’t end pretty for you.”

7. Koch brothers to workers: Vote for Romney or ‘suffer the consequences’
   
   

   As a contentious election season enters its final weeks, a flurry of communication from corporate leaders to rank-and-file workers strongly implies that voting for Obama could imperil their jobs and their financial stability.

   Employees of a paper company owned by the outspoken billionaire Koch brothers received a mailing warning that they could “suffer the consequences, including higher gasoline prices, runaway inflation, and other ills” if they voted for candidates not supported by Koch-owned companies or its political fund-raising arm.

   . . .

   In the private sector, though, such instances skew pro-Romney. The candidate himself suggested that business owners adopt this practice during a virtual town hall meeting with the National Federation of Independent Businesses back in June.

   “I hope you make it very clear to your employees what you believe is in the best interest of your enterprise and therefore their job and their future in the upcoming elections,” he said, telling the audience, “Nothing illegal about you talking to your employees about what you believe is best for the business, because I believe that will figure into their election decision, their voting decision.”

   1. The managers have all seen budget cutbacks, lower pay,  and resource constraints under Obama and the day to day employees have all had to worry about their job or that of their spouse.

      I wonder just how bad Koch Industries have had to lean on their employees with the rising costs of healthcare and energy?

         Everyone but you knows that to be bullshit. I think even you do, but you are too much of a partisan hack asshole and too immature to realize that your habit of insulting the intelligence of Pols readers COMPLETELY destroys your credibility. I don’t mind, of course, that you embarrass even the most partisan republicans (your asshat brethren AGOP, Nock, and TDFGOTB excepted), because it ends up helping to get Democrats elected.

         When Dubya was president, you had a different point of view, remember? Nothing was his fault, it was all those Democrats in Congress. We should thank you, I suppose, for helping Obama get elected, but you are so crushingly obnoxious it is difficult to hold that thought for more than a few seconds.

8. As Dukeco1 pointed out Friday Romney thinks that the uninsured have plenty of access to healthcare and that no one dies for the lack thereof.

   I really hope this comes up in tomorrow’s debate.  Paul Krugman has a few choice words on the matter:

   [G]oing to the emergency room when you’re very sick is no substitute for regular care, especially if you have chronic health problems. When such problems are left untreated – as they often are among uninsured Americans – a trip to the emergency room can all too easily come too late to save a life.

   That should seem pretty obvious, right?  Apparently not to Mitt.

   Gee, what could Romney/Ryan be thinking?

   So let’s be brutally honest here. The Romney-Ryan position on health care is that many millions of Americans must be denied health insurance, and millions more deprived of the security Medicare now provides, in order to save money. At the same time, of course, Mr. Romney and Mr. Ryan are proposing trillions of dollars in tax cuts for the wealthy. So a literal description of their plan is that they want to expose many Americans to financial insecurity, and let some of them die, so that a handful of already wealthy people can have a higher after-tax income.

   Then eventually, those estimated 72 million folks that lose their insurance will grow smaller in number “naturally”.
