Tough to tell what's the top news story today – releases of a bunch of stuff attributed to NC GOP gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson, like calling himself a "Black N*zi" on a porn forum – or was it learning that journalist Olivia Nuzzi slept with RFK Jr.? Of course the day's still young. Yep, I used to follow political news for policy…
OK, I spoke too soon. There's always Matt Gaetz.
Glub, glub… DJT stock is slowly sinking. Currently setting an all time low at $13.85. Insiders are holding their breath, and short sellers are swarming around the few available shares to borrow.
Oddly enough, when Dumpy said last week that he isn’t going to sell his shares, the first thing I thought is he’s going to sell his shares.
As an insider, he has to file notice of intent to sell, thus giving the day traders and terminally clueless retail holders of stock enough time to dump out of their shares, driving the price into the dirt. Trump and his billionaire backers would have to buy up the open market shares to sustain the "for display purposes only" value of the stock. But at that point the shares are sealed in amber, essentially untradeble. It would also put him at risk of a shareholder lawsuit since they are currently "relying" on his promise not to sell.
BTW — it closed to day at $13.55/share, down $1.15 🙂
Bless his heart.,,
Gotta lotta brass, don't he?
And yet he remains puzzled why "the flock" isn't growing?!?
Somehow, I don't think that Frankie G. is one to be talking about "biblical character traits."
