A prayer…
Colorado lost a wonderful citizen this past week. Stan Davis was active in the Democratic party and was well known for his work on the Mike Miles for Senate campaign as well as the Wes Clark for President campaign. Stan was a humble, thoughtful man who loved to discuss politics in a calm, polite way. He mastered the knack of disagreeing without being disagreeable — a much admired trait by all who knew him. Stan spent the last few years battling a chronic illness while spending lots of time talking about politics on various forms of social media — list-serves, facebook, etc. He made friends of all ages, from various points on the political spectrum. We'll miss you, Stan.
This was one of his favorite songs, which was played at his memorial service. Listen carefully to the lyrics and you will know why.
Thank you.
