The campaign of Rick O’Donnell announced today that it has raised more than $1.2 million for Rick’s campaign to win Colorado’s 7th Congressional District.

“We are thankful for our many generous donors,” said campaign manager K.C. Jones. “People are excited to support Rick because he is full of new ideas and energy to solve the problems in Washington and with his experience as a reformer in Colorado, they know he will get things done.”

The campaign will report to the Federal Election Commission that in the second quarter of 2006, it raised $305,000, making it its most successful quarter of fundraising to date. For this election cycle, the campaign has raised a total of $1,245,000. As of June 30, 2006, the campaign had cash on hand of $859,000.

The Republican candidate for the 7th Congressional District, Rick is a native and life long resident of Jefferson County. He served nearly eight years in the Cabinet of Governor Bill Owens working to reform public schools, higher education, health care and transportation.

  1. Perlmutter has swept the endorsements in this race. Perlmutter leads dramatically in every poll. Perlmutter’s record is unassailable.

Perlmutter. Truth. One and the same.

  2. New Ideas  (ignore the Bush fundraiser)
New Energy (ignore the Cheney fundraiser)
Reformer? (ignore all the Bush/Cheney cabinet members)

He does have one thing going for him, he still is in his mid-thirties.

That means he still has time to sign up for active duty in Iraq!

  3. “What poll does he lead?”

Perlmutter is truth. Truth is Perlmutter. If Perlmutter says he is in the lead, then he is in the lead.

    Truth. Perlmutter.

Spelled and pronounced differently but essentially the same word.

  4. I think Perlmutter won the KGNU debate.  I was undecided until this point, but when Ed waxed poetically about being a bankruptcy attorney he won my vote.  I am starting 17th Street Bankruptcy attorneys for Perlmutter.

So sarcafstic that it actually fooled other Lamm shills?  Nothing else to say but well done.

More interesting is that in a thread about the continued fundraising success of the Republican general opponent, the Lamm shills demonstrate their bizarrley obsessive grudge with Perlmutter by entirely ignoring the headline and starting up with the Ed bashing. You are a very, very strange group of people.  Humerous, but weird all the same.

  6. @ Take Back The House………excellent point!  I never thought I’d hold Mike Coffman up as a role model but he had the cojones to put his ass on the line by actually going to Iraq.  (I still won’t vote for Coffman. He may have been a good soldier but he’ll make a lousy Sec. of State.)  Little Ricky should demonstrate his support for his president and Shrub’s Iraq policy by enlisting and literally fighting for it!
