I find this an intriguing compilation and while the link that is below is to “The Green Papers, 2006 U.S. House,Popular Vote and FEC Total Receipts by Party” there are many different links at the site with fascinating compilations of data.
For example, at the bottom of the “House” page, some of the additional links are for:
U.S. Senate Popular Vote and FEC Total Receipts by Party
Gubernatorial Popular Vote by Party
U.S. House Popular Vote and FEC Total Receipts by Party
Close Contests Summary – Decision by 2% or less
One link on the bottom of the page to “Statewide Political Party Strength” is worth looking at for where Colorado was in 2004. (That particular link does not reflect 2006 results but if it did, gee–what a difference 2 years makes!)
