Colorado Pols was in the Grand Junction Sentinel today, the same day we were in the Rocky Mountain News in a separate story. The Sentinel piece highlights the possibility of Sen. Ken Salazar as a Vice-Presidential candidate:
Salazar’s name was mentioned Sunday on “The Chris Matthews Show” on NBC as a possible running mate in the 2008 election.
Though Salazar has not made any announcements regarding the 2008 election, the mention of his name on Matthews’ show sent the state’s liberal bloggers into a brief frenzy. Coloradopols.com highlighted the alleged noncoincidence that Salazar hired Jeff Lane, a former aide to 2004 Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards, in December.

I didn’t realize everyone who blogs on this web site is “liberal” as the article says.
Congrats ColoradoPols for getting your name in the paper (again & again).
As for Ken, don’t count on him being VP candidate. Someone on the blogs said that Salazar is boring, but so was Cheney, and look how powerful he became. (And that is the extent to which there is any similarity between the two). Besides, Ken would be perfect for VP because he doesn’t overshadow anybody, but honestly there are others who can better augment a presidential candidate than Ken (much as I like Ken).
