Developing: Problems With Lafayette Special Election

Nobody pays attention to municipal issue elections unless something breaks.

From what we’re hearing, there’s a potentially big problem developing in Lafayette counting the votes from their recent mail-ballot election related to the breakdown of a Diebold optical-scan machine. This was an unusually hotly-contested affair (Boulder Daily Camera has covered some of the details), with known players up against locals and the open space lobby, and acrimony galore.

Stay tuned, this could be the most fun since they proposed settling the Dacono mayoral race with a boxing match.
