Hey Pols, I seem to remember an issue with the CO US Attorney a year ago or so. Can you repost all of your information on the CO US Attorney issue?

After Suthers stepped down in early 2005, 3 names were floated by Sen. Allard for his replacement, including Troy Eid (the current US Attorney). But the president too so long to decide among them, that all 3 withdrew their names from consideration. Then, suddenly the prez picked Eid (formerly a member of Gov. Owens’s administration).
Thanks for the reminder.
Perhaps they couldn’t find a candidate willing to prosecute a Democrat before the elections.
Seems to me you’re making a Gonzalesmistake.

This diary is from last June and includes links to earlier diaries. Hope this helps. (I found it using google’s “advanced search” option by searching for the phrase U.S. Attorney only at this domain” and looking at the results until I found this one.)
