Sounds like a doo-wop band, doesn’t it?

Not only do the Republican disenfranchise voters but they also deny any criticisms of the wrong-doings no matter their affiliation.
“A number of election law experts, based on their own research, have concluded that the accusations regarding widespread fraud are unjustified. And in this case, one of the two experts hired to do the report was Job Serebrov, a Republican elections lawyer from Arkansas, who defended his research in an e-mail message obtained by The Times that was sent last October to Margaret Sims, a commission staff member.
“Tova and I worked hard to produce a correct, accurate and truthful report,” Mr. Serebrov wrote, referring to Tova Wang, a voting expert with liberal leanings from the Century Foundation and co-author of the report. “I could care less that the results are not what the more conservative members of my party wanted.”
He added: “Neither one of us was willing to conform results for political expediency.”
So did Riesberg take a free ride on the taxpayers nickle (or dime) or not? Hard to tell from the various stories (Denver Post today, fox news last week). Either he lied to his house collegues when arguing a bill on the floor when he said he’d been riding for free for years, or he actually has been riding for free in which case he should repay the taxpayers of the RTD distict (along with fines that any other citizen would pay). Which is it, Rep. Riesberg – liar, or thief, or both?
I agree…….let’s call the post “Commander in Chief”
That would cut into his mountain biking, and probably his sleep schedule.
Yesterday Bush stated:
“The bottom line is this: Congress’s failure to fund our troops will mean that some of our military families could wait longer for their loved ones to return from the front lines. Others could see their loved ones headed back to war sooner than anticipated. This is unacceptable. It’s unacceptable to me, it’s unacceptable to our veterans, it’s unacceptable to our military families, and it’s unacceptable to many in this country.”
Today, after the defense Department extended the tours of soldiers from 12 to 15 months, Democratic Caucus Chairman Rahm Emanuel stated:
“What a difference a day makes. Yesterday, extending tours of duty was `unacceptable’ to the President. Today, it is Pentagon policy. American troops and taxpayers are paying the price for a war with no end in sight.”
Anything would be better than this lying and utterly incompetent bunch.
Great news……Jennifer Veiga’s Second Parent Adoption bill cleared Second Reading in the Senate today. Party-line vote (big surprise there) with some of the wing nuts screaming about this being a “backdoor” attempt to slide in the “homosexual agenda.”
Tomorrow at this time, the bill could be on its way to Ritter’s desk.
Still, good news.
Just might be that the hate filled, inaccurate lies, Republican leaning main street media may be FINALLY being called on their total nonsense.
THIS IS THE GAME LADIES AND GENTLEMAN:
Chris Bowers at MyDD and Kos have noticed a game-changer amongst the Democratic candidates on Iraq. MoveOn.org hosted a candidate forum and in response to their questions on Iraq, most of the candidates gave expected answers. That is, until Bill Richardson gave his answer about what he would do:
(I)f I were President today, I would withdraw American troops by the end of this calendar year. I would have no residual force whatsoever.
No trainers, no permanent bases, nada. And among all the presidential candidates on both sides, he is unquestionably the most seasoned when it comes to foreign policy.
And doing so in a way that will force the others to get more specific. Good for him.
That is pretty damn unequivocal of Richardson. The tide seems to be turning towards getting out every day. Pretty bad news for HRC.
