    1. Fortunately I have Mondays off. Unfortunately I’m waiting for a plumber because I have a clogged sink and my cleanout is impossible to take off. I even went after it with a sledgehammer and chisel and that didn’t do anything. Oh well, I guess I didn’t need that $150 (or whatever it’s going to run me…)

  1. ColoradoPols continues to list Eagle County Commissioner Arn Menconi as a CD#2 candidate even though he adamantly denies it.  In a May 7th story in the Vail Daily, a reporter noted the odds line in this blog site and called both County Commissioners Tom Stone and Arn Menconi (both of Eagle County).  While Stone hasn’t ruled himself out, here’s what Menconi said (and I quote the article verbatim), “But’s there’s one problem with the odds:  Menconi says he isn’t going to run. ‘I think it’s funny that I’m even on the Web site,’ Menconi said.  Menconi said he considered a run for U.S. Rep. Mark Udall’s seat, but decided against it.  A run for that office would be a personal sacrifice, especially considering that he has young children.”

    1. The reason Arn is/was on the bigline is that at one point he WAS floating his name for CD-2.  It was only until the most egotistical, yet worthless, politician in the mountain area realized that people can’t wait for him to be out of public office did he pull his hat out of the ring for “family” reasons.

Arn is nothing but a big government “pat-you-on-the-head-and-tell-you-that-he-knows-better-how-to-run-your-life” liberal that makes EVERY Coloradoan cringe.  There is a reason that out of a three person county commission they ALWAYS passed the gavel over his head.

The mountains are tired of you being the errand boy for Vail Resorts.  Go away Arn!

  2. The Colorado Republican Party’s website has been redone by our friends at Flat Creek…err, Bob Beauprez’s son-in-law, Allan Fuller.  Now basically all that’s there is a huge “CONTRIBUTE NOW” button.

Luckily, the GOP blog is still there, the handiest way I know of to find links for “diet pills,” “gay dating,” “weight loss,” and the Playstation 3.  At least some things don’t change.

    1. There must be a closet Lincoln Log Cabin Republican who is the keeper of their website!  Nobody better tell Condom Bob, Musty or Gecko about the link to gay dating.
