Who am I supporting for President.

  • by: Dan Willis

This was a very hard question for me to answer. Up til now, I have had to use the lame “I’m still thinking about it” with caveats that I liked Richardson and Edwards but question their ability to advance through the process.

I have finally picked my horse. I realize most of you couldn’t care less, but it was a hard decision for me to make.

For a fuller description of how I came to my choice, please see my website: www.dan-willis.com

  1. Hi Dan
I personally do not limit my choice to Dems/Reps. I think the country is in serious trouble and can only make a choice based on saving what remains of our Republic. That having been said I would urge everyone to do themselves a favor and hear this fellow out. http://www.youtube.c
    Have a good one

  2. Who am I supporting for President?  Right now, I can honestly say that I am an equal-opportunity critic.  I will remain an equal-opportunity critic until the caucuses and will thereafter be partisan only if I’m selected as a delegate to anything, and only for those occasions where I am acting in that capacity.

So maybe that’s more of a plugged nickel than two cents worth…  In the meantime, count me as an honest independent broker – I’ll call ’em as I sees ’em.

  3.   I could comfortably vote for any of the announced Dems except Kucinich and Gravel in the general election, and I’m operating on the assumption that H.R.C. will be the nominee.
However, I want to hedge my bets because I’m not convinced that any of the Dems has a lock on the general election.  (Although after the last seven years, any of the Dems should be running away in the polls right now.)
That’s why I’m going to surrender my unaffiliated status and declare as a Republican in time to vote in the caucuses where I’ll vote for Rudy Giuliani.  (I’ll probably revert to unaffiliated after the caucuses, unless some RINO challenges B.S. for the Senate nomination.)
In a general election match up between H.R.C. and Giuliani, I’ll probably vote for Hillary.  But that’s not a certainty at this point in time.
P.S.  I wouldn’t mind seeing a “New Yorker Three Way” w/ Bloomberg on the ballot as an option, too.
