  1. If that means we’ll be signing in again to post, then hot damn. I was a fan of that “construtive posts only” format.  The spam gets insane. I mean come on… how many times do need to read about online gambling? I have the guv line to get my fix.

  2. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Thanks especially to those who continue to work for peace, social and economic justice for all. Thanks to those who work to reduce the influence of the military-industrial complex; who work to reduce the influence of corporate lobbyists; and to those who work to protect our fragile environment. Thanks also to those who work for universal health care.

Thanks to Phoenix Rising for his thoughtful comments, and to Voyageur – when he’s behaving:-)

  3. I keep hearing rumors of a marriage initiative coming out of of El Paso Cnty for the next cycle.  Does anybody know if it’s still alive?  Seems like they’d start making noise about now..

  4. Initiatives must have their initial presentation made by May 5, title review by May 17, and petitions in by Aug. 7.

I usually don’t hear much about initiatives until early Spring, so I wouldn’t be worried that they’ve forgotten their annual have-to-exclude-someone drive.

  5. Have a good holiday, everyone.
I refuse to call it “turkey day” because we have a vegetarian household, but we intend to demolish a lot of sweet potatoes, pies, and seitan delicacies.
And don’t worry, Sir Robin, now that Ref C is out of the way I can revert to my natural role as a free-trading, free-market, keep gummint out of my bedroom , Republican.  You won’t see much more of the Mr. Nice Guy stuff!
