(We’ve heard of campaign finance questions, but rarely does someone just not even bother filing a report at all. – promoted by Colorado Pols)
It seems Jim Geddes, a candidate for CU Regent in CD6 has a problem filing his campaign finance reports. As reported in the Daily Camera, missed a May 1st and June 2nd filing deadline. A complaint has been filed by Colorado Ethics Watch.
AJ Clemmons — the Democrat running against Geddes in the regent race — criticized her opponent Thursday for not following the most “basic” financial accountability measures while running to represent CU, which has a $2.4 billion budget.
“Coloradans deserve to know where he raises money and how he spends it,” she said.

The main reason to vote for AJ instead of Geddes is because AJ is spectacular; brilliant, charismatic, well prepared, ask her anything and you’ll get a thorough knowledgeable answer. I’ve met her and been at events where she has spoken and taken questions and she is such a quality candidate you simply couldn’t do any better. Great life experience and educational background, too. Geddes is the GOP candidate from the 6th Congressional District – so as a Republican he has a heavy advantage in a race like this. He seems to be exhibiting total contempt to his future constituents – refusing even to return phone calls from reporters about the issue.
This should not be a partisan position – and a loser like Geddes is a prime example of why. He can flout the laws and still waltz into office.
