  1. Curious as to how Sheila Macdonald feels about the fact the Perlmutter has come out very vocally supporting C&D, but Peggy Lamm has been silent on the subject.

    Maybe Lamm’s support for Owens does not extend to C&D.

  2. I have to chuckle at the U.S. media coverage of the German elections. It appears that the Denver Post and its mother-ship, the NY Times, are having a tough time trying to put their spin on a shift to the right in Germany.  But, whatever the outcome, I’m sure Bush will get blamed for something that happens over there.

  6. Since President Bush has spent our childrens childrens childrens money, I guess that is “why” his ideas of going to Mars will not likely to happen in our lifetimes.  Instead, we go to the Moon by 2020 to check-out all that lunar dust for 7 days … to see if it is okay.

  7. I don’t know what Peter will say but I don’t believe God hates the U.S.  I believe he took a little something off his curve and Katrina went into the Gulf Coast instead of whacking FLA again.  You got to admit FLA has really caught it since Pres. Bush was elected the first time.  Kinda scary.

  9. God loves American Liberty and Freedom.  God doesn’t like the agenda of the conservatives to destroy our natural environment and seek to provide an accelerated amount of control to those who are wealthy (that do not pay their share in taxes), thus robbing their Democracy from them.

    The principles of Democracy are rooted with what the inspired thought that our forefathers provided.  The separation of church and state is purposeful.  The idealism of a theocracy is danagerous when people seek to remove the promises of self-sustainability in co-existence with our natural environment.  Excesss and extremism through radical capitalism will only prove that we will not survive as a a species.  Achieving a balance in nature is vastly important, unless we have already resigned yourselves to the four horsemen of the apocalypse.  If the end of the world is what you wish and seek, with the destruction of the earth’s ecololgy, then God has a way to flood the earth and begin newer and smarter living creatures over millions and millions of years. 

    A fullfillment of the last chapter of the Bible is certainly in the “Will of Choice” of the Conservative Party.  However, the Democrats have other ideas in how to live in a peaceful co-existence with our fragile planet.

  10. What will you say if Florida AND the Gulf of Mexico is ravaged by another category 4-5-6 hurricane this year?  I would be worried about NO.  Especially, in the oil rich region of the Gulf of Mexico.  Maybe, God is saying “NO” more war for OIL ???

  11. Finally, a candidate for governor from the mountains….. the rumor here is that Representative Gary Lindstrom is considering running for Governor.  He is a rare, straight talking politician.  That is precisely why he is appealing to a broad spectrum of voters.

  12. Heard Stengel at a Republican Lunch this afternoon. He said he asked Bob Beauprez to be a spokesperson, as well, for the No on C committee. But that Beauprez turned him down. Bob – come on – stop swallowing the bitter pill and fight to defeat C!

  14. Did anyone hear about the suit Kent Lambert had against ‘Colorado for Working Families” i.e the Gill Foundation? Seems the Courts ruled in his favor on Amendment 28. so I heard anyway.

    Those involved include: Rep. Alice Madden, Speaker Romanoff and Betty Bucher.

    Someone should check this out!

    Wake-up and smell the roses!!!  The world needs to make changes to alternative energies, to protect our environment!!!  IF that doesn’t make sense to you Sir Robin, then watch the news when hurricane Rita gets into the Gulf of Mexico, and watch the power of Mother Nature … she is pretty unforgiving.  🙂

  16. I’d like to ask Peter how I can get in touch? Sounds like a movement I want to join. Would Jesus vote for or against “C”? Would Jesus want the wealth of this country to rest in the tight fists of the few, or would He feed the masses. What is the matter with those of us who deny our fellow man equality, legal and economic justice, a sound education providing an equal chance to exceed? Are we that poor in spitit? What I detect is an enoprmous poverty of spirit in the body politic. That is NOT what the Founders of this great republic had in mind.

    It’s all about raining money, isn’t it? It’s not the message. It’s the MONEY! Christ. Where are you when we need you?

    Indeed, money does not grow on trees, and yes, the world has proved that capitalism works … it is the only system thus far that we have found that incorporates the fundamentals of our three-dimensional world, an element of biology and “survival of the fitest” in ecology and others.  However, we can either decide to support elements that are known to cause severe damage to our “space” that is borrowed, “like a table that is borrowed, whereby you sit on one side and I on another, without harming the other, benefiting from the exchange of knowledge and maybe a Last Supper meal.” 

    Take into account what Theodore Rooseveldt said:

    “It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better.  The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again;
    who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause; who, at best, knows in the end the triumph of high achievement; and who, at the worst; if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.”

    However, we must also be smart in what battles we decide to fight.  I would not take on a fighter who out-matches me, indeed, the elements of the “Art of War” suggests finding the weaknesses of an attacker to learn who to face such a challenge.  We also have learned through our use and skill of technology to make our lives much easier, the battles of the past don’t need to be fought with bows and arrows, we can and have learned to fight our differences with thoughtful education, negotiation and the promise of finding a greater understanding of each other through thoughts written by Prophets and the authors of the Prophets.

    I don’t think you need a Prophet to speak the obvious … but, none-the-less, we are facing “weather” and climate as our next verse of battle.  Question, “why have we met God’s Weatherman?”  Quite simple, we met him upon the rise of his temperature … the worlds temperature! 

    Indeed, Mother Earth has a virus, and a growing unhealthly temperature that we AS the VIRUS have created. 

    WHO DO YOU THINK WILL WIN ???

    Joe Stengel and Marc Holtzman are violating the law.  Props to Bob Beauprez for declining their offer to join them in their criminal activity.  It will be interesting to see how much Stengel is getting paid by Holtzman’s campaign to do his dirty work.

    My comment wasn’t directed towards you.  The site has hardly been made more honest or representative.  It has become insignificant and ridiculous.  And watch your mouth.  There was no reason for you to tell me to shut the anything up.  I would never disrespect you like that and didn’t say anything to elicit such a response.
