This just keeps getting better and better. The republicans were shooting for a Harriet Miers pick, and got stung. The old saying is “Never make a decision when you’re angry or panicked”.
Only question left is when and how they dump her for joe.
Awkward.
Is there ever a moment when McCain is not “angry or panicked”?
And they’re dumping her for Romney, if they dump her. The delegates would revolt if pro-choicer Joe Lieberman were nominated at the convention.
Even if there are answers to the negative questions, it doesn’t matter. Once you have to defend it, you have lost. This has not been a good week for the McCain / Palin team.
