We were out all day yesterday. If you weren’t, maybe you should consider getting a life/hobby.

Stumped? Mile High United Way needs donations and hurricane evacuee shelter volunteers: call 211 for more information.

  1. Just saw this ran over the weekend.  This can’t be helpful to MH.

AP Enterprise: Holtzman was target of congressional inquiry in 1993
    By STEVEN K. PAULSON
    Associated Press Writer

DENVER – Republican Marc Holtzman has spent part of his campaign for
Colorado governor touting his work more than a decade ago helping former
communist countries with his savvy investment strategies. But a
government-backed venture in which he was a key player was the target of
a 1993 congressional inquiry that concluded his company had management
problems and that Holtzman and his partners were prepaid lucrative
salaries to avoid paying higher taxes, according to a review of
    documents by The Associated Press.

  2. DeLay: Gas Tax Good!, Estate Tax Bad?

The real Republican tax policy – look out for their rich friends by rolling back the estate tax is more important than looking out for you and me by giving us a tax break at the pump.

I thank Delay for reminding me why I am a Democrat.
