Colorado Polster of the Months

  • by: Colorado Pols

(Today is the final day for voting before the runoff election on Friday. – promoted by Colorado Pols)

UPDATE: This round of voting is over – go vote in the runoff election

It’s been a long time since we did one of these elections, and since we no longer seem able to do it on a weekly basis, we’ll call this the Polster of the Last Two Months ballot.

Your nominations are in, and the ballot is full. Click below to vote, and as always, our apologies to anyone we inadvertently left off the ballot.

Who is the Colorado Polster of the Month(s)?

  1. This ballot reminds me of the Iraqi ballot. The only thing missing are nifty little icons next to the candidates. Well, that and the lack of purple dye to show that I voted.

      1. The ‘Polster of the Months’ ballot is long. The ballot for the Iraqi elections in 2005 was long. Thus this suggests …

… oh, geez, the fact that I have to write a paragraph to explain this means I flat out missed on the humor part.

Sorry, I’ll try to be less obtuse next time.

  2. It is with great surprise to see my name on the list with such luminaries as SSG_Dan and sxp151 and so many others.

For a humble politician, such as myself, this is one of those days that brings a special happiness. I will take this wonderful experience with me as I travel about the country telling why Aurora and Colorado are the greatest places to live.

        1. or “Note topic” … bloggy or e-mail shorthand usually used when the subject line is the entirety of the message. Although an empty post under a subject line generally speaks for itself, so I’m not sure why it’s used so frequently here.

          1. and if it’s a “n/t” then there’s no reason to actually go click the link to read it. Good for those of us who like the occasional one-liner, especially on a blog like this where posting is somewhat infrequent.

    1. ’til the prolix pontificates! (I’m trying to be PC vis-a-vis “fat ladies”).

Which reminds me: I have to go relatively silent for the next week or so, in order to write that sustainable energy paper I once solicited in-put on. But I’ll be back!

    1. I’m not on the ballot, even though I was responsible for bringing Danny (the Red Hair) in from the darkness in which he’s been lurking with my first and only diary.

I’m comfortable concluding this was an intentional slight from Colorado Pols. That and the fact I don’t know the handshake. 😉

      1. this is the first time I have been listed.  Your diaries and comments have been great, IMO.  Your diary on the Roan/oil shale ‘drive-by’ from the Heartland shill ‘researcher’ was very well done and made some wide rounds among certain folks…

      2. It was a great diary, but I had remembered it as Twitty since he usually posts such good info on the western slope.

Kick Twitty off the ballot and put Ardy on. 😉

              1. I have two others.  “Bubba LaBeija” voted for you.  But “wade norris” voted for me.  I also voted for me, cuz that’s what democracy is all about.

  3. I can honestly say i miss all of you and i think you should all be Polsters of the Month(s)!

Pols is like Crack, once addicted you can never “really” be off of it!

I read all the time, just don’t comment.  Most on the this blog are very well informed, even if their sources and opinions are different from mine and wrong! LOL

    RedStateBlues is my personal favorite.
