    1. Mike Rosen just talked about the website and said it is okay, it not a nazi plot.  We should not get paranoid or irrational.

So, I feel much better…I mean if it is good enough for Mike Rosen, then it is good enough for me.

      1. Rosen is trying to tell his callers to “be not afraid” and do not become paranoid..that not everything “the over the top talk show hosts” say is right.  He said he is “not scared down to his socks.”  His callers want to know “why not.”  His callers are ganging up on him. Well, he has been calling dems “socialists” and worse for years and now he is reaping what he sowed …..

I think he went to Rockies baseball three hours early.

OK, in full disclosure…I do like talk radio…the way some people like to see the same old tired circus every year..it is familiar, you kinda grew up with it  and every once in a while,

the clown wets his pants… .

  1. WAKARUSA, Ind.- President Barack Obama brought his latest prescription for recovery to this economically ravaged region of northern Indiana, promising Wednesday to “unleash prosperity for everybody, not just some.”

Obama told a gathering of community that the federal government would distribute $2.4 billion in 48 taxpayer grants to create next-generation electric cars and recreational vehicles. The grants will be divided among 25 states.

Meanwhile the majority of Americans continue to suffer under Cash for Clunkers.

*used car prices for lower income people have risen.  Students, retirees and low income families are now facing falsely inflated prices to go along with the other price inflations they face.

*auto dealers have fought endless delays in gaining deal approval from the ultimate Finance Manager Uncle Sam as s/he reviews the reams of paper for a single application of bailout financing.

*buyers have been turned away because their 6 month insurance card can’t be used to document they have had continuous 12 month insurance, among other things.

*non-profits have faced additional downturns in giving (auto donations) have dried up.

*billions in viable american assets that could help positive GDP growth have be chemicaly melted and sent to the shredder in hopes of flooding the scrap metal business and lowering prices overseas buys pay for wasteful American excesses.

*the japanese upside has been the winning of 6 in 10 new cars sold by dealers under this government managed handout program (wasn’t this suppose to help american producers??)

    1. Do you really believe any of this ? If a “buyer is turned away” because their 6 month insurance card can’t be used they have to MAKE ONE PHONE CALL TO THEIR AUTO INSURER and ask them to provide proof of 12 continual months of insurance to the dealer. Imagine the suffering !

And heaven forbid, auto dealers have to fill out some paperwork to get their money.  The horror !

Are you really buying any of this crap ?

      1. unnaturally subsidizin’, mandating or dictating socialistic policies in order to attain unproven objectives without accounting for science and finance.

Go checkout Chairman Mao’s great leap forward.

Why do the policies you blindly follow always seem to hurt or threaten the average American?

*Students, retirees and low income families are now facing falsely inflated used car prices to go along with the other price inflations they face.

*non-profits face additional downturns in giving, as auto donations have dried up.  This further damages non-profit abilities to operate as they normally employ viable used vehicles in their daily operations.

*billions in viable american assets that could help positive GDP growth have be chemicaly melted (Obama’s Great UAW Leap Forward) and sent to the shredder in hopes of flooding the scrap metal business and lowering prices overseas buys pay for wasteful American excesses.

*the japanese upside has been the winning of 6 in 10 new cars sold by dealers under this government managed handout program (wasn’t this suppose to help american producers??)

You gotta love the impacts of the government confiscation of GM to benefit UAW Bosses!  Now they go subsize purchases of their competitors products!

          1. this is the work of my public school mind?

I can’t imagine what payoffs Obama has planned for the NEA … after 30 years of NEA policy advocacy, our public school distict is graduating 50% of those that enter high school.

That’s some winning data that superitendant cum senator bennet should have his 527 promote.

    2. More unsourced plagiarism from you.

Your source forgot to mention that there are undoubtedly thousands of cars being traded in by illegal immigrants.  They haul ’em up here from Mexico just to get a deal on a new Prius.

    1. But here:

      http://www.flickr.com/photos/m

As a grad of DoD Visual Information Academy and the PSYOPS subcourse, this poster FAILS on it’s attempt to be black propaganda (no pun intended)

If you want to use the image of psychopath, the written message should match the image. Or have the image match the message.

So, for the bogus socialism caption, Obama should look like the Constructionist Posters of Stalin or Lenin. If you want to go with the Obama as Joker image, shouldn’t it read Grandma Killer, reflecting the bogus scare tactic about how the Dems health care plan calls for euthanasia in old people?

Either way, this fails in it’s message at artistic satire of the President. If this is all it takes to amuse Conservatives and Repubs, you guys are in worse shape than I thought.

      1. I was waiting until someone would say it was racist, and the WaPo did this morning, in a truly jump-the-shark kind of way.

Anyone have any thoughts on that angle?

        1. It’s clearly a reference to Heath Ledger’s Joker Character. Trying to link it to Blackface Minstrel Shows is wrong because the actors in those shows wore primarily BLACK makeup over their faces.

Like I said, the Retarded-Development Right hoot their delight for anything linking Obama to Socalism, regardless of how appropriate an image may be.

            1. Said it was racist because Ledger’s Joker was the first ‘urban’ Joker.  Hence, blacks being more “urban” are being disparaged by the comparison.

At least I think that’s what they were trying to say.

  2. …because it will further alienate Hispanic voters from GOP, but I cannot see the logic in the right wing Senators opposing Sotomayor today.

There was not a snowball’s chance in hell of actually stopping her confirmation, and her appointment does nothing to upset the ideological balance of the Court.

This nominee was the mirror image of John Roberts’ appointment as C.J.  Roberts was going to be confirmed (and in O.Q.D.’s humble opinion, should have been).  Roberts’ appointment did nothing to upset the ideological balance of the Court.

Half of the Dems in the Senate saw it that way, and led by Pat Leahy, Russ Feingold and Herb Kohl (none of whom are known to be DINOs), voted to confirm Roberts.

By voting to confirm Roberts, the Dems could then oppose Alito who did change the ideological make-up of the Court.

In warfare, sometimes it’s smart to keep your powder dry for the battles that matter.

Oh well, I can see the commercials the Dems are going to be running against Texas GOP gubernatorial candidate Kay Bailey Hutchison next year….

    1. I’m convinced of it.  They’re in the minority and a number of them know that the reason they’re in that position is the extremism that’s taken over the party.  But they’ve backed themselves in to a corner.  They’ve so energized the loony right as a base that they can’t even vote for a justice with excellent qualifications.

This is, in large part, the same group that insisted Democrats should support a President’s nominations regardless of their ideology.  And a large number of Democrats did, indeed, support Bush’s appointments – with far too little oversight about their ideology (and qualifications) if you ask me…

  3. aired tonight:

“Saturday, don’t forget to watch Beck followed by our Charles Manson Special”

A Sons of Satan Saturday on the loony tunes channel.  Can’t miss that.

“I was a big time schlep. I still am, really.”  -Glenn Beck
