Big peaks in 2002 and 2007. I realize 2007 was the aftermath of Speaker Hastert's reign so there may have been a lot of damage done for which Nancy Pelosi had to pay the bills.
Don't forget Hastert's successor as speaker, Bob Livingston, who had some marital problems of his own.

Livingston was Hastert's short-lived predecessor as speaker. Gingrich was forced out by making the 1998 election all about, Bill, Monica and the Blow Job costing the GOP 5 House seats.
Livingston was tapped to be Gingrich's replacement but had to bow out when that Ace Investigative Journalist Lynn Flynt outed him as an adulterer right in the middle of the impeachment debate and floor vote.
Hastert was supposed to be Mr. Clean. We saw how that worked out.

Nobody remembers the 1980's. You are lucky if most remember what they had for breakfast this morning. And people prioritize the few things they actually do remember. Like the names of each and every member of Kardashian family. Or who was on DWTS last week.
Trickle-down economics is something novel to many people, especially millennials who were not around for it the first time.

I was wondering about that when I read that they had been married for 30 years….
I did not see a photo of her but I just presumed she was about 45 now.
I think it is something more like 14 years. He was 38, she was 23 or 24. He's 70 now, making her 55 or so.
She's the President of the Foundation that will be paying out $1 million or so when the sale of the property goes through to … you guessed it … removed-Judge Moore.

But if it were just "window shopping for the future" (when they hit the age of consent) it would only be creepy. That this man, who also twice was found to have violated his oaths to both State and Nation, is even marginally acceptable nevermind possibly a majority vote winner is horribly disturbing to this white male Christian native-born citizen.
It looks like Trump has resolved the Republican dilemma regarding Roy Moore:
“What is your message to women, sir, at this pivotal moment in our country where we are talking about sexual misconduct…”
“Roy Moore denies it— that’s all I can say.”
In fact, "He totally denies it."
And later, "He says he didn't do it, so I believe him."
