Rep. Judy and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Controversial GOP Rep. Judy Reyher has been officially sworn into the Colorado General Assembly, as the Colorado House Republicans informed us yesterday in a congratulatory Tweet–providing final confirmation that Republicans will welcome a representative who thinks among a host of other gold-nugget views that “the black community and the Democrats are the most racist group of people that exist” and “I hated the black half of Obama as much as I hated the white half.”

It’s going to be a “colorful” 2018 legislative session, folks! With that in mind, can somebody identify for us the colorful jacket Reyher is wearing? One theory we heard is that it’s a map, and we’re looking at the area where Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado meet. It could be representative of a local civic organization from the Arkansas River Valley, or some other kind of club outfit. Perhaps it’s the official uniform of the “six months later they conjure up a birth certificate and we’re all supposed to fall for it” club? That’s another quote by the way.

It’s not like we want to offend whatever group of people this coat represents by saddling them with all the crazy things Reyher said that made her infamous. Much like the GOP brand as a whole, Reyher did that all by herself.

If Reyher’s dreadful fashion choice has no symbolic meaning behind it whatsoever, we’re…just sorry.

    1. I respectfully disagree with your assessment of Justice Coats. You may not agree with his decisions but he is very intelligent, a gentleman and a legal scholar.

  1. I cut the image down and did a Google search of just the coat.

No direct hits … but the suggested ones were fairly humorous — lots of kids at a new indoor playground; a young girl dressed as a princess (red top, yellow skirt with royal blue stripes …

For those being more serious, it looks like there is a logo with some sort of brackets around a letter O.  Anything in the district that would link?

  2. Mocking her for her choice of coat? How small of you. Wait until the session starts next month. I'm sure you'll have better, and higher quality, statements and outbursts from her to use.

  3. Met her the other day. Kooky ol' bird. She was insistent that the Colorado border stops at El Paso County (i.e., no one in the state cares about southern Colorado).

    1. Then should she not be taking a seat in New Mexico?  As for Kooky ol' Bird, someone needed to fill the perch left vacant when that Dingbat, Joanne Windholz, left. We can't expect Lori Saine and Ray Walston to carry that burden alone.

When it comes to RWNJs, I think the women are freakier than the men.
