Results from a new poll from Public Policy Polling are out today with some striking numbers showing Democrat Jason Crow with a 44-39 lead over incumbent Republican Mike Coffman in CD-6. From a press release:
A new Public Policy Polling survey finds that Democratic candidate Jason Crow has a lead over incumbent Republican Congressman Mike Coffman in the 2018 election for Colorado’s 6th Congressional District. In the initial ballot, Crow leads Coffman 44-39. After learning that Crow does not take money from corporate special interest PACs while Coffman has accepted $1.6 million from corporate PACs and just voted to give corporations a huge tax cut, voters support Crow 48-38 over Coffman.
Coffman supporters are furiously trying to downplay these numbers based on polling metrics, sample size, yada yada yada. But any complaints about this particular poll should not overshadow one important note: This is the first public poll we can recall showing anyone leading Coffman since he was first elected in 2008.
Nationwide, polling numbers in a “generic congressional matchup” show Democrats with a potentially-historic advantage in 2018. The hypothetical question currently shows Democrats with a 16-point lead over Republicans; if this trend holds through November, it will be very tough for Coffman to hold onto his seat for another term.

Wow! First time I've seen Coffman down in polling to a named opponent. Promoting and defending Trump policies in a swing district must be taking a toll.
Ine thing's for sure. Whether wins or loses, Nutteranus is still a bargain basement idiot shill.
I don't think anyone knows Crow – so it's roughly the same as generic D.
but I'd rather Coffman be trailing than leading
Does the same poll say anything about Crow versus Levi Tillemann? I live in CD6 and the sense I am getting it he has more grassroots support, and Crow has more mainstream support. It will be interesting to see what happens. Either way, there would be a huge improvement over lying Coffman who presents himself as a moderate and embracer of diversity, yet who votes like the Tea-Party loser he really is.
I can hear Nutlid now……
FAKE NEWS! FAKE NEWS!
YOU LIBS GOT NOTHING!
LOCKER HER, LOCK HER UP!
YOU'RE GRASPING AT STRAWS!
Wonder what happens if there is a poll / push poll on Dreamers, showing Coffman is on every side of the issue and Crow is consistent in his support for a pathway to citizenship. Or a push poll on gun control.
Starting the poll by labeling Coffman tool of special interests biases the results. So far, I'm filing this with the last 4,372 irrefutable proofs of Coffman's defeat.
Still the initial 44-39 deficit does pose a problem for Mike, given the fact that most people don't know Crow from Adam.
PPP does fake Democrat fantasy polls for Democrats. They are always wrong. They have no credibility at all.
You do fake commentary for your Russian overlords. You have no credibility at all.
Still one of the top polling firms for accuracy, Moddy. I know you liked the very biased early polling from Rasmussen, but this isn't surprising…
Generic Dem vs Republican has been D +9ish or better for quite a while now; Crow only leads Coffman by 5 here, so it's a very rational result.
Recent polling has that gap widening again.
Also, this was a Hillary +9 district in 2016. Coffman's hold on the seat is endangered by the math alone in a Democratic wave year.
Really?

Scroll down a bit to Donald Trump.
Roger Edwards 4-EVAH!
Congratulations, you have just received the mamajama Kiss'O'Death endorsement. 💋💋
Whoa, mama! What is up with that site? McAfee anti-virus went ballistic when I clicked on that link. This is what it reported:
The Edwards site holds on to "cookies" from site visitors. That's all I know about it. I defer to those nerdier than myself to 'splain it.
I just tried it with a different browser (Firefox instead of Chrome) — same result. He probably doesn't need to have https enabled on his home page. I'd guess a bad certificate (although it's also unusual to omit the 'www' prefix as well). Roger shoulda paid a 12 year old to set up his site instead of trying it himself.
But whatever keeps the donors away is probably ok with me
"Roger says P" is for priorities?
I thought in recognition of Roy Moore, Denny Hastert, Ralph Shortie, and some of the other leaders of the GOP, it was for pedophiles.
If he really, really loved our President, he’d know:
“‘P’ is for . . .
. . . P – – – – y grabbin’”
and
. . . P – e tape”
and
. . . Putin” (swoon)
. . . You’d think this Edwards dipshit might try once appealing to his own base??!??
Jason Crow is the real deal. I wont hold it against him that he is an attorney but he is also a veteran and his politics are progressive. Keep your eye on Jason, he is going places in CO… And he can do more pushups than Coffman too!
