Pols Poll 2: State Treasurer

  • by: Colorado Pols

As always, please vote based on what you think will happen, not on who you would vote for or which candidate you support personally. Think of it this way: If you had to bet the deed to your house, who would you pick?

Who Will Be Elected State Treasurer in 2010?

  1. No one ever heard of the other two.

If they ever do, they’ll understand why theses aren’t the guys they want.

CK is doing a good job.

And no one pays attention to this office anyway.

            1. is related to the Walker family as in George Walker and George Herbert Walker Bush, as well as being a descendent of the Mayor who was hand in glove with the Ku Klux Klan.

He deserves to be judged on his own merits, of course, not his ancestry.

Is J.J. Ament the son of former state rep. and state Sen. Don Ament, who was later secretary of agriculture.  Don also served a stint on the state board of Ed.  Don is a fine gentleman, haven’t met J.J.

In any case, Cary Kennedy is outstanding.  I count her and Bernie Buescher as the best two Ds in statewide office.  I’m hoping she runs for Gov. in 2016, it’s time a woman took over the job and Cary absolutely has the abilities.

              1. maybe great great and I agree that that is too remote to be of relevance.

I disagree though about the relevance of his politics to that of the rest of the Bush clan because of 2 reasons 1.  Who are his donors 2. his philosophy of governance is the same as his more famous cousin (I believe his mother is GWB’s cousin, making him second cousin(?)).

                1. I should have clarified that I don’t hold his not so great grandfather Klansman against him.  His links to the dubya wing of the Republican party are contemporary and relevant, for the very reasons you gave.
