The Primary Election is less than two weeks away, so it’s time for our very wise readers to start prognosticating.
As always, we want to know who you think will be the winner in this race — not who you support or who you would prefer to see emerge victorious. The point of this exercise is to gauge the current perception of this race through the eyes (and mouse clicks) of politically-astute observers like you, so we’re more interested in your gut feeling than anything else. Vote away!

I suspect unaffiliated voters will add to Jared's lead, but also spread themselves between Johnston and Lynne as well (if in fact they are to the right of the average Democratic primary voter — not a proven hypothesis).
I'm thinking the "independent" voters range across the ideological spectrum and will distribute votes to all candidates. I'd also speculate some will be voting against Polis because they don't want to respond to the number of ads and mailings. A couple of my neighbors voted for Kennedy, wanting something other than a white man in office.
The oddest vote combo among the people I've talked with — one person voting Lynne for Governor, Salazar for AG. Felt the two were active and effective in state government.
That is odd… I hope there will be some reliable primary exit poll data, or polls during the general indicating the unaffiliated effect on the election.
I will foolishly speculate Polis has hit his ceiling — He was arguably the best known candidate going in and if you aren't convinced by now after $10M in ads, will another $5M make a difference. I bet Johnson rises – -he seems to be making a direct picture to unaffiliated and might grab those who are put off by the Polis-Kennedy-Hick spat.
Mike Johnston is awesome – informed, energized, polite. He's not going to win the nomination.
Jared Polis will be the D nominee.
Even if that is accurate, Polis’ ceiling remains much higher than any ceiling that the other Dems can probably reach within 12 days.
