USA TODAY’s John Fritze via 9NEWS, and you know how you miss yourself some Number 44:
Former President Barack Obama announced endorsements Wednesday of 81 Democratic candidates in the November midterm elections, and said he is “eager” to help his party gain seats in a contest widely seen as a referendum on President Donald Trump.
While Obama did not mention Trump by name, he said in the public statement outlining his plans that he wanted to lend his status to help candidates who would fight for shared opportunity, help repair alliances abroad and further a commitment to justice…
Fully 13 of the 81 candidates endorsed so far by former President Barack Obama are running in Colorado–a disproportionate number that reflects the importance of Democrats holding the Governor’s Mansion, and in particular retaking the state senate. Four Democratic women this wear, Reps. Faith Winter, Brittany Pettersen, Jessie Danielson along with SD-16 candidate Tammy Story, represent the hopes of Democrats of ending the GOP’s one-seat holdout majority blamed for both gridlock and an unchecked culture of sexual harassment in that chamber under outgoing Senate President Kevin Grantham.
One thing’s for sure: if Obama comes to Colorado to campaign for local Democrats this fall, he’ll get a much warmer welcome over than the current occupant of the White House. The only reason we can think of for Donald Trump to stump outside the reddest of red states is to shore up Trump’s ago, and that does not win elections. Obama would win votes instead of cost them, a principal goal of stumping for a candidate.
The President who carried the state twice before Trump lost it is no liability. Colorado would elect Obama again.

Go Tammy Story. Great endorsement for a winnable race.
Hope follow-up waves come along, adding a few of the US House contests to the list.
You're delusional.
Wow!!! That was some powerful stuff you laid down there MAGAt. I'm totally floored by those two words you wrote. Well, I might be if they came from somebody who has credibility, and a functioning brain.
I thought Fluffy was back in Virginia hot on trail of Bigfoot with that kinky GOP House candidate.
He's looking to arrest people who bought groceries and didn't get carded.
Where's Jason Crow?
Does he only get out of district endorsements in the primary??
Joe Neguse didn't get endorsed either even though if he wins, he will be the first African American to serve in Congress from the state of Colorado. They must have thought that Obama's endorsement in these races would be a net benefit.
Neguse has plenty of endorsements as it is!

Pretty sure the Obama folks are more focused on keeping Colorado a Blue State, rather than worried about our Congressional delegation. Joe, at any rate, should be able to take care of it on his own.
Really. Does Neguese even have a Repuke opponent?
Looks like Joe has 3 opponents, so together, they might hold his vote percentage below 80%
The candidate filing deadline was March 20, 2018. Roger Barris (Libertarian), Nick Thomas(Independent), Joe Neguse (D), and Peter Yu (R) are running in the general election.
Gee, I'm surprised you can't figure out Jason Crow's endorsements.
