Once again, we want to know which of the various candidates for major office that you consider to be the biggest lock for 2010 (of those who have credible opponents, that is, which leaves people like John Suthers off the list).
If you had to pick just one name below, and you had to bet everything you had that they would win the general election in 2010, who would you choose?
Remember — this isn’t a poll to choose who you want to win, or who you support, but to get your collective thoughts on which race is The Surest Thing in 2010.

Last I checked he was running for Senate, not Governor.

Slip o’ the fingers. We can’t change the poll now without deleting it altogether.
Speaking of Freud… Cosmic.
he had chosen to run for something else.
on the Treasurer line? He’s an actual candidate since a week ago …
that he and Andrew are teaching a private class on how not to run a campaign . . .
😉
is still the easiest money in the bunch. No question.
I agree Salazar’s the surest thing on this list, but does he really have a viable opponent? I think he belongs with Polis, Lambert, DeGette and Coffman — at the very least, with Perlmutter, who’s also got a lock on re-election but still will have a race to run.
Who can self-fund to some degree. He’s also done it once before, so there should be some name ID in the district. He’s a longshot at best, but he is a viable candidate.
As races go, Salazar has a tougher opponent than Perlmutter, which is why the latter is not included on this list.
and Salazar’s district, at least on paper, leans a bit more Republican than Perlmutter’s. Still, it’s a fine line between the two.
Some people have a hard time reading instructions.
…and much as I dislike my Congresswoman, I have to admit that she could get caught in bed with a Dead Gay transvestite Hooker, Two Clowns, a midget and a giraffe and still win in a landslide.
…there was a TMW comic that made reference to Repub Sex scandals, and the panel had a Bald White Guy in S&M gear, in bed with the same laundry list as above.
He said something like “Oh gosh, look at the time! I’m late for my speech to high schoolers on the importance of fundamental family values!”
I can’t find the comic, thou….
