Election Day is now just 11 weeks away, so it’s time to start asking you — our loyal readers — the big questions for 2018.
As always, we want to know who you think will be the winner in this race — not who you support or who you would prefer to see emerge victorious. Cast your vote below.
Who gets to move into the Governor’s Mansion in January? Will it be Democrat Jared Polis or Republican Walker Stapleton?

The next Governor from the great state of Colorado will be Cynthia. Coffman. She didn't blackmail anybody.
We already have a buffoon in the White House, we don’t need Trump’s mini-me in the governor’s mansion, too.
Obviously Polis is going to have to shop carefully when buying a celebration cake. This is a Fuck Republicans election so hard to see how Walker disentangles himself from his oafishness at this stage. No amount of Koch money is going to match what Polis is willing to spend so money won't be the deciding factor. Stay tuned to see who pulls up lame at the finish.
I'm starting to wonder if Stapleton will be able to encourage Trump to come to Colorado and campaign for him. Or for one of the Republicans running for the House AND him. That may be the only highlight of the campaign.
… When the most evident campaign move thus far is complaining about your opponent not showing up for a specific Western Colorado group.
… when the most recent entry on the campaign website is a vague complaint that Polis' Congressional mailing and his campaign for Governor are both … wait for it … concerned about public lands [but which Marshall Zelinger's story points out the Representative's office said:
…. when your "health care" page explains a vague vision of "I will focus on improving quality and reducing the costs of health care in Colorado by working with a variety of groups and individuals to drive innovation, increase transparency, and improve the delivery of care to make health care more accessible." And it ends with "Make no mistake, I will defend patients with pre-existing conditions and continue to allow young adults under 26 to stay on their parents’ coverage. Any proposals to roll back these provisions will be rejected by my administration." [Does he really think the Colorado Governor would have input on those rules?]
