What you can do to fight back this week (September 17)

  • by: ProgressNow Colorado

A new poll from the New York Times confirms what many of you already know: this year, Rep. Mike Coffman of Aurora is in serious trouble. [1] After years of running away from his far-right record, reality may finally be catching up with “Teflon Mike.”

If it happens, it will be because of thousands of Coloradans in Coffman’s district who decided they were tired of being misled. With Coffman’s party lurching farther to the right, voters rewarded Coffman’s lip service to protecting immigrants, veterans, and Americans who depend on Medicare and Social Security. And then, by supporting Trump and voting for Trump’s destructive agenda, Mike Coffman broke all those promises.

And the chickens are coming home to roost.

Action item #1 this week: join our friends at Indivisible Denver as they drop banners at I-25 and Union Avenue spreading the word about Coffman—every Tuesday until the election! Click here to RSVP.
