Breaking alert on CNN – who's winning with 1,000 votes in. Really? Breaking news?
Most important race – my mom is presently getting 60% of the vote.
Florida is looking promising. Real numbers in with Miami not yet reporting and Dems ahead by 4 points.
Kinda feels like awaiting the results of a biopsy.
you mofos logged me out again

Right now its a dem sweep in Colorado
And Jared has it. So glad to see that.
Right now it looks like the Democrats are going to get the State Senate as well.
We Blue yet, people?
Not really. 4/3 is not a solid blue like California where the Republican representatives could apply for endangered species status. Democrats have won statewide by a narrow margin. They still have not called AG at this hour because the lead is just 2%, 34,843 votes out of millions cast.
If Republicans started nominating sane candidates statewide they could easily win downballot races, Senate seats, or the Governor's chair. There may have been more independent votes than Democrats in this election. A midterm.

Not likely to happen. Better to double down and run a real conservative next time instead of a squish like Stapleton.

report from DKos … Tuesday, Nov 6, 2018 · 7:35:59 PM MST · David Nir
CO-06: Our fourth pickup: NBC calls it for Dem Jason Crow, who ousts Republican Rep. Mike Coffman.
Anyone else notice the SoS website has over 1 million votes up, but lists 0% counties reporting?
Yes, but Wayne is a GOPer
Early voting doesn't count for reporting totals on Clarity. Only 5 counties fully reported if you look at the Counties Reporting link…
Also a bad night for the payday loan industry.
Proposition 111 – Cap Payday Loan Costs
76.7% Yes 1,052,447
23.3% No 318,830
56.85% reporting / 8:01 PM
Not as bad as people think, unfortunately . . .
. . . see also, CRS 5-2-214.
When people learn that there still remains Colorado law that allows small loans, under $1000, to be written at the same triple-digit interest APRs for time periods as short as 90 days, . . .
. . . and that all of today’s outlawed payday lenders are still in business and have migrated to making those loans beginning this next February, I think the collective “WTF happened?” from 77% of the voting electorate will be deafening !!?!!
Unfortunately, Pueblo isn't coming through for Diane Mitsch Bush. Tipton currently has a 1,700 vote lead in the county.
BTW, the county map view feature on the SoS site is pretty neat!
Tim Neville looks like he might need to go back his job at the gun store sales counter again.
The Senate is looking pretty blue 🙂
And a special shoutout to Tom Sullivan in HD37! Looking really good!
Looks the Dems have the state senate, no?
Yes. They flipped Senate-24.
51.6% Faith Winter-Dem
40.8% Beth Martinez Humenik-Rep (incumbent)
4.8% Adam Matkowsky-Una
2.7% Donald Osborn-Lib
To me it looks like the Unity candidate really hurt the Republican in that district.
The Democrats also look likely to flip Senate-16. Only 61% reporting, but Tammy Story is ahead 54.5% to 43.1%.
Only early votes in for the important races, but they look good for Team Blue so far!
State Senate: Storey, Danielson, Petterson, Winter are all looking strong. Count on CPR is 9 Dems winning, 7 Reps winning, 1 race still at 0% reporting.
Yay Polis, yay Young, Griswold, Weiser.. Damnit stuck with Buck, Lamborn.
and gova walker and kobach, the two foremost vote supressors, were handily defeated!!!!
and overall nationwide rurnout. was like 58% dems!!!
too early to call on Walker, dang it. but Kobach defeat is SWWEET
Looks like Steve King might bite the dust in Iowa.
Which would make Iowa solid D. Probably has something to do with the Trump Trade War.
But you know, since we've done so well with the US House, I might prefer keeping Steve King in the House where we can keep an eye on him. Unleash him, and he's likely to become a Fox news talking head (snarling head?). Second best would be for him to retire and just play golf with Tom Tancredo.
Looks like he and Gov Kim Reynolds held on. Still, IA handed 2 House seats to Dems tonight.
I went to the Triangle for an hour after which I went to the Westin. Seeing Thurston standing on stage and looking almost lifelike got me thinking of Sappy.
Where is Zappy? He hasn't been on this thread at all. I'm surprised.
Sorry I missed you R&R. That was quite a crowd at the Westin!
The house results are wonderful. Not just the numbers, but some of the specific Republicans defeated, or looking like they will be.
Senate was expected. Sucks but expected.
But Georgia & Florida (gov) are disappointing.
In NY for work. Dad is MAGA man but mom hasn’t voted in 10 yrs due to handicap. I GOTV for her, and Delgado won NY 19! She’ll be happy and so am I. And she’ll get her ballot in mail going forward.
Looking forward to coming home to Colorful Colorado (blue is my favorite color)!
Now on to flipping dad…🙄
Welfare check needed on Moderatus.
And now Shorter Coffman has joined Taller Coffman in retirement. The power couple were undefeated until after they divorced.
It was a nice day so I put Moddy on the porch railing for some sun. Next thing I knew, he was under the porch shedding leaves.
Concerning the Coffmans;things that make you go, "Hmmm".
Looks like I live the Democratic Jefferson County.
If I am not mistaken, Dems now hold all of the state senate seats in Jeffco and most of the House seats. The RWNJ who replaced the deadbeat dad in Evergreen will be replaced by Lisa Cutter. The Republicans held on to at least 2 Houses – one of which was Lang Sias' district which stayed in the GOP column by just over 0.5%.
The Dems have a majority of county commissioners and swept every county office except Faye Griffin (who barely hung on) and the sheriff's office where the incumbent Republican ran unopposed.
And all of the statewide candidates comfortably carried the county.
