Bennet initially struck me as a brown-nosing post turtle with no place in the Senate, but he’s quickly matured into a bold Senator. If Romanoff’s presence in the primary helped to force Bennet to become more committed to progressive causes, I applaud Romanoff. But I’m leaning strongly Bennet following Romanoff’s juvenile behavior in recent weeks, and if Perlmutter–who has had ample opportunity to evaluate Romanoff’s fitness for this position over the years–is pro-Bennet, so am I.
There are few people, in any field or industry, with the integrity and honesty of Ed Perlmutter. He speaks the truth, and is respected and beloved by all who know him.
I joked with Ed a few weeks back that he made my job difficult. I am always telling people, “Write to your members of Congress.” I always get the same response, “I don’t need to. I have Ed.”
I am wondering if the head to head
Romanoff vs. Bennet polling figures to be released Monday will effect the caucus vote?
I see no way that Speaker Romnanoff can stay in the race if he comes in second on Tuesday. Not saying he will but IF he does I think he will withdrawal from the race.

Heck no. Any qualified candidate can mount a challenge up until the state assembly, or petition on. Who’s game?
