Who is it gonna be? It’s time again that we asked Colorado Pols readers to predict the name of the eventual 2020 Democratic nominee for President. When last we asked, you were still rolling with California Sen. Kamala Harris as the most likely nominee.
Mike Harden of the publication formerly known as the Colorado Statesman is pretty excited about the fact that former Gov. John Hickenlooper may have moved from 1% to 2% in national polling. Of course, the Monmouth University Poll that sparked his enthusiasm has a margin of error of +/-5.4%, so it’s possible that Hick is actually polling in the high sevens. The leader in the Monmouth poll is still former Vice President Joe Biden, who has yet to officially enter the race.
As always, we want to know what you think will happen here — not what you want to happen or who you personally might support. If you had to place a bet on the outcome TODAY, who do you predict will be the Democratic nominee for President in 2020?
And since there are still a bagillion candidates and we don’t want to take up the entire screen with this one poll, you’ll have to cast your vote after the jump…

"That Sound Bend Indiana Mayor Guy" — is that a '90's Grunge Rock band?
I don’t understand why Alva can’t use Buttigieg’s name??? . . .
Why not:
. . . That old, decrepit, socialist fucker??
. . . That frackfluid drinking Colorado cipher??
. . . That Senator for Life Michael why???
. . . That fourth-times-a-charm Joe antique white guy??
. . .
It's just a joke that goes back to the first poll with Buttigieg included in January.
There’s a reason Madco’s the funny guy around here . . .
If there were no bad jokes, you wouldn't be able to appreciate the good jokes. We're here to help.
Ok.
So, now that you’ve finally explained Voyager . . .
Ouch.
But then…it was a lobbed softball.
Vee haf veys to make you laugh, Dyedjeans:
"Take Curmudgeon.
Please! "
You called, Bob?
Careful, Scurvy. It's after sundown. You know what that means to you Alzheimer's victims.
Well, Bob; if I ever get confused, I just have to go back to an old post here right here on this very site to get my bearings.
So you admit you lied about the sockpuppet claim. Good for you, Scurvey.
Nope. I stand by my theory, Bob, as it's already been shown you've used more than one name here. Deny it?
Please. Please, deny it.
Do you even know what a "sockpuppet" is, Sc urvy? Didn't they cover that in your GED exam?
Tee hee.
(And your link doesn’t work. Boy are you dumb!)

Be careful what you wish for.
I wish it was because I got better pharmacy.
antique white guy is too non-specific. otherwise – you are correct.
Nirvana
Smashing Pumpkins
Pearl Jam
Your's is too long. And there's no real visual.
90's grunge rock had rules, at least emergently.
thanks for playing.
I was thinking it was similar to Soundgarden. I assumed that autocorrect had changed South into Sound, and Alva might not have noticed, thus unintentionally spawning a completely unnecessary tit-for-tat redux between V'ger and Curm.
Actually, it seems like almost anything will spawn a completely unnecessary tit-for-tat redux between those two.
Retirement can get sooooo boring.
That’s a lesson on why you can’t just trust looks and assumptions . . .
. . . they may seem like they should be harmless enough, but that doesn’t mean you should be a sucker and turn your back.
We have Booker, Buttigieg, Castro, Delaney, Gabbard, Gillibrand, Harris, Hickenlooper, Inslee, Klobuchar, Messam, Moulton, O'Rourke, Ryan, Sanders, Swalwell, Warren, Williamson, & Yang, with Biden & Bennet likely to jump in soon.
13 or 14 have qualified for the June debates already (maybe more — I am not following the "polling results" criteria), seven put out tax returns; seven raised $5 million or more. Doing the trifecta: Harris, Klobuchar, O'Rourke, Sanders and Warren.
I'm still leaning Harris, with Warren or Klobuchar offered VP.
Two questions;
Are there really 34 people that think Buttigieg will be the Dem nominee for POTUS?
Do they have any money?
Can we agree on who would be the most dangerous nominee?
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/24/opinion/sanders-2020-trump.html?action=click&module=Opinion&pgtype=Homepage
Are you claiming to have the Democratic Party's best interests at heart?
No.
Trump, obviously.
Question should be . . .
Can we mostly agree which Democratic candidate scares most Democrats and independents???
Shouldn't Yammy be on the right in that image?
Alva…
It is South Bend…not Sound Bend.
I thought you would have fixed that by now.😉
A joke that is, Duke, Yoda says.
Speaking of South Bend, did you hear Trump is flying there to inspect the damage from the fire at Notre Dame?
Please explain the order of the candidates. Why did you not put them in alphabetical order?
Just because you're in alphabetical order, CDW, that doesn't mean Alva has to be!
I voted Warren cause she's my fave, but Bernie has the inside track right now. Once debates start, and people get tired of his screaming without thought out plans, maybe they'll switch to her, with a similar message, with a nicer package, and more thought through proposals.
Except, daft one, on one important subject it's bernie being the adult. He's against impeachment because if the Senate has to try Putin Boy, that's all they will talk about. Therefore they won't talk about education, health care, climate change or other winning issues for Democrats. And finally, of course, Democrats lose the vote, with key defections like Manchin splitting their ranks.
Warren just loves the idea of rushing into that trap. When it's bernie cautioning against empty posturing, that says something about where Trump Derangement Syndrome is luring the uber left.
I'm still with Klobuchar, with Ka mela my second choice. But Buttigieg is moving up, drafting behind the leaders and dreaming of that checkered flag.
But it’s well to remember, we’ve only gone 50 miles in this Indianapolis 500 replay.
