I would love to see some direct mail from the guy targeted at Republicans to pull some votes away from Gardner.
Markey can use the help — she seems to be doing well, but the demographics in the 4th are still against her.
Though maybe Aden doesn’t want to have to file because he doesn’t recognize the FEC as a needed government agency?
This year is probably the best in a long time to run as a third party candidate. People are pissed off at Democrats but don’t trust Republicans to fix it either. Aden might be a longshot, but this is not a good year for either major party.

Never the less, this won’t fly. Tea Partiers are smart and know that Markey needs to go down. They won’t split the vote.

Anyway you cut it, Tea Party candidates siphon off votes from Republican candidates. Can you say Ralph Nader using guttural sounds.
The best part about it is that no matter how much I try to help you guys out, you still can’t bring yourself to believe we’re smart. I can trumpet about the intelligence of the Tea Party all I want (even back it up with polling data that shows Tea Partiers are slightly more educated than average) and you guys still won’t see the coming revolution in November. Being a grad student has nothing to do with being “pissant” (which I’m not). As a supporter of higher education, I would think you would value those who take the time out of their life to go to grad school to pursue the subjects they love instead of making the big bucks. Especially since you libs think the world would fall apart without government education.

I have a B.S., an MS and 60 hours beyond the MS, with my latest credential being a certified paralegal. With those credential and two bucks, I can get a black coffee at Starbucks, provided I bring my own cup.
I was considering law school but since I’d be 69 before I could pass the bar, I’ll probably leave that to the young kids like Steve Harvey, whose barely at the half century mark. But honestly, I have found education, at least past the bachelor’s level, to be more for one’s own edification and enjoyment of life than any economic benefit. Once I had my MS, I decided that I now had my credential and thereafter would only study things that were worthwhile.

After all, the Clinton years of peace and prosperity would never have happened if it hadn’t been for good ol’ Ross Perot, who did really, really well right here in Colorado. In general, independent minded westerners are probably more likely to go rogue which could put or keep a few more seats in play with strong, relatively speaking, third party candidates.
Rs knew what they were doing contributing to Nader in 2000. My husband just talked to a Republican who says he temporarily switches his registration to Dem for every primary so he can vote for the ones he considers to be the weakest Dem candidates.
The counter-insurgency possibilities are endless and Rs have been employing them for decades. Time for Dem psy-ops?

Interesting group of people. I met Rob Stein for about 2 minutes at the 08 DNC. And, of course, I read Blueprint
but for close in work, I still prefer the flamethrower. I do get criticized by the enviros for my high carbon footprint, however;-)
