Political blogs are known for their rough banter. “Idiot!” “Shill!”
I dish it out and I take it. But banter is one thing. Meanness just sucks.
The Primary is in a week. It cannot come soon enough. Soon we–or most of us–will have to get behind the winner, on either side of the aisle, and work to patch up the hurt feelings, distortions, anger and vitriol.
Can we?
I hope so, because I find Buck and Norton insufferable.

He wrote an op-ed in support of federal hate crime legislation, and he and his office stood strong for Angie Zapata’s dignity throughout the entire trial of her accused killer.
Don’t tell his supporters though, it is far worse for a teabagger to be pro-gay than for a “true progressive” to be pro-war.
her “accused killer,” and doesn’t need to be called that. Her killer is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
And I am well aware of what happened at the trial, I watched it live on CNN.com.
I can live with him [being in the U.S. Senate]. 🙂
