…I’d included my phone number on my voter registration.
Oh wait, no it doesn’t.
I’d love to chat with the Prez, but not at the cost of all those angsty persuasion calls.
Just lucky, somehow. My ballot has long since gone in.
What was delightful was that I remembered in time how to use both handsets of our landline, so that my son MrMike could listen in and hear the President talking to all of us live and in person. He was thrilled to pieces. (My son, not Obama. Obama is probably used to it by now.)
I guess I’m just a big old geek, but it amazes me that we have the technology so that a bunch of regular citizens can be in live contact with their President.
It’s like we’re living in the future or something!!
