Thanks to Dan Maes and his recent remarks about the United Nations’ plan to take over the world with bicycles, http://coloradopols.com/diary/…
The Denver Cruisers announced on their web site today that Wednesday’s theme will be the U.N Ride.
http://www.denvercruisers.com/
They specifically credit Dan Maes for coming up with the idea, and everyone is encouraged to dress up in their best U.N. outfit.
For those of you who haven’t yet made the mistake of driving anywhere downtown on a summer Wednesday night, the Denver Cruisers are a bicycle club that draws crowds near the thousands. They have a different theme every week and it will certainly seem like Dan Maes’ fears of the U.N. taking over Denver have come true.
Hopefully he gets some good footage to shoot his next campaign commercial!

I’m riding tomorrow night and am looking forward to this one. I have no idea what to wear though…
Nice work Dan Maes…you can add all of the people in tomorrow night’s weekly cruiser ride to the list of people who won’t vote for you.
Bike riding has been popular in Evergreen and surrounding areas since I was a kid growing up out here.
Weekend warrior bicyclists help contribute a lot to Evergreen’s local economy – how exactly does this Maes guy plan on sustaining and creating new Colorado jobs when he wants to heavily restrict the very outdoor activities Coloradoans enjoy doing?
And this brainiac Dan Maes thinks he’s capable of being a governor and able to sustain and enhance Colorado’s tourism economy sectors? I think not.
Anyhow, see you fellow bike riders tomorrow night. Should be a hoot.
You pinko Commie, you…
is the additive role cyclist’s play in Evergreen’s economy. Dan Maes lives in Evergreen. When and how has Dan Maes been additive to the local economy?
